Harry cash-claimed a quarter in section 7, 8S 49W in 1891, and also in 1891, cash-claimed a quarter in section 12, 8S 50W.
. Harry had applied for a timber claim in 8S 48W, but it wasn't completed.

The 1880 census for Custer County, Colorado has a Frederick "Breene", 45, with Louise 40, both born in Germany, with William 13, Louis 11, and Henry 9, all three born in Pennsylvania.
In 1894 Mosca, Colorado (Conejos County) Harry Ziemer is running a livery.
Harry Ziemer married Hulda Bachman October 18, 1898, recorded in Saguache County.

In 1900 Saguache County (near Conejos) Harry A., a miner, born April 1872 in Pennsylvania, married two years to Hulda April 1871 Kansas.. There's a Harry A. Ziemer in La Plata County in 1930, 47, born in Pennsylvania, with Hulda 48 Kansas. Hubert, 19, was born in Colorado.
Hulda was in Rio Grande County, Colorado in 1880, with parents Henry and Croline Bachmann. She's nine., and Gustav A. is 17, Henry U. 16, Elizabeth C. 11, Geo F. 7, and Augusta M. 4.
When Caroline H. Bachmann's estate was probated in Saguache County, heirs wee Geore F. Bachmann of Del Norte, son, Gus A. Bachmann of Drew Oregon, son, Elizabeth C. Lucas of Del Norte, daughter, Hulda Zimmer of Durango, daughter, Augusta Heiden of Buhl Idaho, daughter, and deceased daughter Meta Keck of Del Norte, whose husband was Rudolph J. Keck."
1907 Del Norte, Colorado "Mrs. Hulda Ziemer, of Creede, who spent Thanksgiving at the home of her mother, Mrs. Bachmann, returned to her home Sunday."
When Henry Bachmann died in 1907 at the age of 43, he left his mother Caroline H. Bachmann, brother George F., sisters Miss Aguusta M. Meta R., and Mrs. Hilda E. Ziemer.


In 1908 Creede Colorado, "Hirbert" Ziemer was neither absent nor tardy from Grade 1 in January.

In 1910 Whatcom County, Washington, Harry is 38, a blacksmith, with Hulda 37, Hubert 9, born in Colorado, and brother-in-law Gustav A. Bachmann, 47, born in Minnesota.
Louis J. Ziemer died in Custer County, Colorado, and his obituary mentions his brother Harry Ziemer in Durango, Colorado, a brother Wm. Ziemer in Washington, and mother Mrs. Louise Peterson of Seattle Washington, surviving.

Harry is a blacksmith in 1940 La Plata County, and he and Hulda are alone.
Hubert A. Ziemer married Helen Aitken October 7, 1923, recorded in La Plata County,
Hubert A. Ziemer married Rachael L. Taylor Novembe 22, 1944 in Placer County, California.

1950 Torrance California "Mid-week guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William M Mitchell, ...were Mrs. Herbert A. Ziemer of Durango, Colorado, grandmother of Mrs. Mitchell, and Hubert A. Ziemer of Roseville, Calif, Mrs. Mitchell's father."
In 1951 Hubert A. Ziemer was the administrator of the estate of Gustave Adolph Bachmann of Douglas County, Oregon.

Hulda Ziemer, born April 29, 1871, died August 7, 1960 - Grand Junction Daily Sentinel.
Hubert A. Ziemer 1906-1985 is buried in Folsom California # 114822651.
So is Rachael Ziemer , dying 1966 # 114822485.
