Kit Carson County Pioneers:
William I. Vodenska , 8 South 49 West
William (of Elbert County, Colorado) cash-claimed a quarter in 12, 8S 49W in 1891.
He had also filed for a homestead and a timber claim in the same township, but they weren't completed.
The hand-written certificate of the cash claim has VODENSKA very clearly written in at least three places, so the name on the application might have been misspelled.
