Mrs. Thompson was born January 14, 1829; married Luther Page Thompson February 16, 1850. Her husband died April 21, 1872, and shee has since lived a widow and for several years had made her home with her nephew, Mr. Stiffler, whom she reared from a child and to whom she was as much attached as if he had been her own son. Mrs. Thompson, during her life time, reared and helped to educate thirteen children, only one of whom was bone of her bone and flesh of her flesh. She was, indeed, a most remarkable woman and her creed consisted in doing good in the world. It can truly be told of her that the world is better because she has lived. The funeral will be held in Longmont and there she will be buried beside loved ones who have come before. It is the faithless person who has not any faith to his faith . "
