In 1900 Phillips County, Kansas, Samuel A. Perrine born Dec 1851 in Ohio, married 22 years to Lettitia Nov 1855 New Jersey, is farming. She's had four kids, all living - Florence E. Jan 1879, Frank L. Mar 1881, and "S. Eddie" January 1883 - these three born in Missouri, and Laura M. March 1886 Kansas.

Julia E. Rogers married Frank L. Perrine in Flagler, Colorado May 28, 1913. The ceremony was performed by minister Euginia F. St. John of Vona (the first female delegate to the national Methodist convention).
Julia Davis, per one tree, was William Davis' daughter, and was adopted by Susan Ford. In 1900 Wright County, Iowa, Susan born May 1848 has Robert A Robers Dec 1875 a carpenter, and Julia Rogers Oct 1886 at school.
In 1895 Wright County, Iowa, Susan Ford is 44, Verna A. Robers 22, Robert A. Rogers 20, and Julia M. Rogers 9.
(Vern Rogers is in Lincoln County, Colorado in 1910, 38, marrid to Geanettie 27, with three kids. So that may be a reason for Juia to be in the area)
Vern 1871-1952 and Geanettie 1878-1955 are buried in Colorado Springs, # 35147550.

Frank proved up a quarter in 6, 8S 49W in 1913, and another in 1917.
Frank registered for WWI in Kit Carson County, nearest relative Julia Perrine - wife.
In 1920 Seibert, Colorado, Frank is a shoemaker 33, Julia 36 Iowa, Ruby 4, Viola M. 2, and Leslie P. 1.

Frank has a shoe shop in 1930 Seibert, 49, with Julia E. 44, Ruby L. E. 14, Viola M. 13, Leslie P. 11, Eugene H. 10, Juanita M. 8, and Sylvester E. 6.
Sylvester - 1924-1935 is buried in Seibert # 36384018 - one tree said he died of Bright's disease.

In 1940 Seibert, Frank is working for the WPA, with Julia 55 and Juanita 18.
The headstone in Golden, Colorado has Frank L. 1881-1953 # 68783058 and Julia E. 1883-1975.
"Viola was born in the Rock Island Railroad Hotel in Flagler, Colorado. She spent her early years on her parents homestead outside of Seibert, Colorado, before moving into the town of Seibert when she was about 12. She graduated from Seibert High School in May of 1935, as Salutatorian for her graduating class. She married Vernon Elmer Baxter on May 20, 1935, in Scott City, Kansas.
They were the parents of 8 children, of which 7 survived to adulthood. She was the grandmother of 17 grandchildren, 22 great grand children and 6 great great grand children.
She married John D. Gettman in 1962, after the death of Vernon."

"Ruby Murphy, 93, died June 29, 2009 in Molalla. She was born Sept. 18, 1915 in Seibert, Colo. to Frank Perrine and Julia Davis. She moved to Oregon while in her 20s, after marrying BERT MURPHY in Colorado. She worked for the Hubbard Post Office, was an avid square dancer and belonged to many women's organizations. Her family described her as a loving and giving lady.
Survivors include her sister, Juanita of Colorado; brothers, Leslie and Eugene, both of California and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Viola. "
Juanita married Chet Jackson - their son James, born 1945, died in 2010 in Arizona, Juanita also had sons Ron and Bob.

SAMUEL

George Washington Pillmore ,son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Pillmore, was born at Dunbarton, Wis., January 13, 1859 and passed away at his home in Edmond, Kans., May 26, 1925, age 66 years, four months and 13 days.
He grew to manhood in Dunbarton, Wis., he being the fourth son of a family of seven children.
January 3, 1884, he was united in marriage to Miss Cora Anderson, in Dunbarton, Wis. Soon after their marriage they moved to Geddes, South Dakota, where they took up a homestead and endured the hardships of early pioneering. Here, too, there were born to them nine children, four sons and five daughters. The first born, Roxy, passed away in early childhood, March 4, 1890. The second daughter grew to woman hood and was united in marriage to E. P. Perrine and passed to the great beyond in 1909 at Billings, Mont.
He is survived by a devoted wife, his life companion, and seven children. the four sons are Edison, of Delnort, Colo.; Lester, of Phillipsburg, Kan.; Guy and Blane, of Edmond, Kan. The three daughters are Mrs. H. B. Conkey, Mrs. H. E. Hazlett and Miss State Pillmore, all of Edmond, Kan., also nine grandchildren and one brother, Joh Pillmore, of Pasadena, Cal. Mr. Pillmore moved to Phillipsburg, Kan., in the year 1902 and in the spring of 1917 he moved to Edmond, Kan., where he resided until his passing away.

Samuel married Ethel Pillmore, and that she died March 25, 1909 in Billings, Montana.
Ethel M. Pillmore, born Dec 1885 in South Dakota, is with her parents George 40 and Cora 39 in Charles Mix County, South Dakota.

Samuel proved up two quarters in section 7 in 1913.

One tree said he married Margaret Nehring in Wabaunsee Kansas in 1916.
Samuel Edd Perrine registered for WWI in Phillipsburg, Kanasas, born January 7, 183, farming, with Mrs. Margaret May Perrine.
Alma Kansas 1924 "Mrs. Margaret Nehring-Perrine of Phillipsburg, sends a check and says she is always glad to get the Enterprise with the news of the old home town and does not want to miss an issue."

In 1930 Phillips County, Kansas, S. Edwin is 47, Missouri, Margaret B. 37 Kaansas, with gladys R. 12, Alice A. 10, Sarah A. 6, and Margaret 4.
In 1940 Phillips County, Ed, 57 and Margaret 48 have Sarahan 16 and Margaret 13.
Samuel Edwin Perrine 1883-1968 # 20548113 and Margaret B. Perrine 1892-1981 are buried in Phillipsburg, Kansas.


"Gladys Elliott, 97, passed away April 20, 2015 at the Phillips County Hospital in Phillipsburg, Kansas. She was born August 15, 1917 in Phillips County, Kansas to Samuel Edwin and Margaret (Nehring) Perrine.
When she was a Junior in high school she began working for J. C. Penney. She graduated from Phillipsburg High School in 1935 and continued to work at the Penney’s store until 1941.
On July 15, 1941, she was united in marriage to Robert C. Elliott, Sr. From 1941 – 1964 Gladys was the bookkeeper for Elliott Hardware. Following the sale of the hardware store in 1964, she & her husband operated Elliott’s Sales & Service out of their home until his death in 1983. With the help of their son, Richard, Gladys continued operating the business until Richard’s death in 2011. For over 47 years she did washings and ironings for people in the community and for the Medical Center and E.M.S., continuing to iron until she was 95.
Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; son, Richard; stepson, Jimmy Elliott; stepdaughter, Norma J. Bell; two sisters, Alice Sleeper and Sara Ann Maynard; a half-sister, Bernice Perrine; and step great-grandson, Micky Bell.
She is survived by her son, Rev. Robert Elliott, Jr.; daughters, Anita Elliott and Linda (Tony) Imm; daughter-in-law, Irene Elliott; one sister, Marguerite Clark; 6 grandchildren: Gina (Delton) Braun, Crystal (Brok) Rule, Bobbi Elliott, Derek (Abby) Elliott, Katie (Bradley) Anderson, Anthony Imm and fiancee’, Bailey; 2 step grandsons, Jimmy and Craig Bell; 9 great-grandchildren: Kacee, Kadee, Karlee, Kelcee, Khloee, Darrian, Raleigh, Landon and Averey; and 2 step great-grandchildren: Katie and Cody. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 25, 2015 in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg, with her son, Rev. Robert Elliott, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg. "
