Anson proved up a quarter in 28, 8S 49W in 1892.

In 1900 Woods County, Oklahoma, Anson is widowed, born March 1836 in Illinois, , a barber. Son Asa C. December 1874 Nebraska, married but no spuse, is also a barber.
Sgt. Anson C. McPherson, born March 3, 1836 in Morgan County, Illinois to Benjamin Goodrich and Agnes McPherson, married to Elizabeth, is buried at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.

McPherson, now at the Soldiers Home in Leavenworth and one sister, Mrs. Mary Troy, who lives at Runge, Texas. When he was 7 years old his parents moved to Morgan county, Ill., where he grew to manhood and there ....

HELEN McPHERSON UNDERWOOD, wife of Samuel G. Underwood, 837 Fourth Avenue, Council Bluffs, died at 8 o'clock a.m., January 10, 1918, aged 80 years 6 months. She was born at Port Glasgow on the Clyde, Scotland, and came to this country with her parents and to Council Bluffs in May of 1851, having lived in Pottawattamie County ever since. She was married to Samuel G. Underwood in March of 1856 at Council Bluffs.
She leaving surviving her five sons and three daughters: William Underwood, Council Bluffs; Mrs. Edward Benton, Council Bluffs; Miss Annie Underwood, Council Bluffs; John Underwood, McClelland; S.G. Underwood, Jr., Council Bluffs; Mrs. William Lewis, Council Bluffs; Herbert Underwood, Dumfries; Fay L. Underwood, Council Bluffs. She leaves also fifteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren; also two brothers, Robert McPherson of the Isle of Pines, West Indies; Joseph R. McPherson of Council Bluffs, Iowa.
The funeral will be held at the family residence on Sunday, January 13, 1918 at 2 o'clock. The Rev. George A. Ray of the Second Presbyterian Church will conduct the services. Burial will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery.

In 1910 "U.C." McPherson of Isle of Pines was a member of the Cuban National Horticultural Society.

J.C. McPherson was born at Council Bluffs, Iowa, and was farming in Los Indios, Isle of Pines, Cuba in 1919. Mattie, whose legal domicile was Haigler, Nebraska, was going there to teach.
She had been in the Isle of Pines 1909 to 1912, 1914 to 1915, and 1919 to 1920.

He was an electrical contractor in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1930, James 36, Lulu 38, James L. 11, Robert B 9, Mary L. 6, and Donald L. 3.
They were in Amador, California in 1940, with Robert Marylua nd Donald.
John applied for a passport in 1919, saying he had been in Isle of Pines from 1907 to 1918, and in Havana 1916-1918, and he was goin gto be a salesman and demonstrator.
John was in Washington, D.C. in 1940 no occupation , 46, married to Lelia 44, born in New York, no occupation.
He might be the John K. McPherson in 1920 Los Angeles, a machinery broker, 25, born in Nebraska, with Olive, an office manager for a machinery company 28, Kentucky.
John Kenneth McPherson registered for WWI in Maryland, saying he was president of International Chemicals, Inc. of Halpine, Maryland, reference Cecelia McPherson.

Isabel McPherson arrived at New Orleans in May 1909 from Cuba, age 11, with her mother Mrs. J.C. McPherson, both of Haigler, Nebraska.
Elizabeth Isabel McPherson applied for a visa in 1920, saying she was born in Haigler Oct 17, 1896., with her legal domicile of Los Angels, and she was in Havana from 1917 -1920 as a student.
