In 1880 Randolph County, Illinois, Louis La Fluer is a farm laborer, 20, with parents Charles and Mary. Josephine is 16, Sevanien 12, Mary 9, Belle 5, and Lentha 2. POSSIBLE
In 1880 Cass County, Nebraska, "Lewis" Lafler is 21, born in Illinois, living with the Jacob R. Barr and Martha Barr family. Minnie Barr is 13, Wesley James Barr 11, Myrtle Barris 8, Bian Barr is newborn.

L.C. Lafler is listed in the 1890 Cass County gazetteer.
The February 29, 1896 newspaper mentions "Armina Lafler vs. L. Lafler; suit in attachment.."

In 1900 Cass County, Lewis born Feb 1858 in Illinois, married 16 years toi Minnie M. Dec 1866 Montana, have Pearl A. Nov 1884, Carrie B. Feb 1886, Ralph L. July 1889, Blanch M. Apr 1889, Clifton Nov 1893, and Leon Oct 1897, all kids born in Nebraska.

In 1910 Washington County, Nebraska, Lewis C. Lafler is divorced, 51, born in Illinois, with sons Ralph 22 and Clifton 17, both born in Nebraska.

In 1920 Douglas County Nebraska, Louis C. Lafler, divorced, 60, born in Illinois, is a fruit farmer, living alone.
Minnie is also divorced in 1920, 53, living with her parents in Cass County.

"Louis C. Lafler, 74. died early Monday morning at the Swedish Mission hospital at Omaha. His home was at Florence. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. C. F. Hookham of Hemmingford, Mrs. Otis C. Demick of Sidney and Mrs. Percy Stabler of Havelock; three sons, Ralph and Clifton of Benedict and Leon of Sidney. The body will be brought to Lincoln where It will be held at Hodgman’s pending funeral arrangements. "

Percy Stabler 22 and Blanche "Lafler" 19, daughter of Louis Lafler and Minnie Barr, married April 18, 1907 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. "Percy, who is also engaged in farming his father's land and who married Blanche Lafler."

Clifton "Lefter", 22, son of Louis C. "Lefter" and Minnie Barr, married Mildred Grobe, 20, in Council Bluffs August 31, 1915.

"Maud Neola Knapp was born in Daly (Dailey) , Logan Co. CO June 18, 1892. Maud died May 29, 1966 in Sidney, Cheyenne Co, NE, at 73 years of age. buried at Greenwood Cem, Sidney, Cheyenne, Nebraska She married Ralph Leslie Lafler in Nebraska, September 27, 1916.
Ralph was born in Greenwood, Cass Co, NE July 27, 1888. Ralph( was the son of Lewis Clifton Lafler and Armenia Maria Barr. Ralph died August 14, 1969 in Sidney, Cheyenne Co, NE, at 81 years of age. "
July 1941 " Leon Lafler, who farms almost 2,000 acres on the south table, hit a high of 38 bushels in one field but his holdings overlap into Colorado and cannot be considered in Cheyenne county’s area. "
