Samuel and Ann Frankfather, children, Clay D. Frankfather, 6 South 43 West

In 1900 Kit Carson County, Samuel Frankfather born March 1839 in Ohio, Annie M. Nov 1845 in Ohio, have Clay E. Aug 1876 and Mabel Nov 1880 and Gracie M. Aug 1886, all three born in Nebraska.
Both Samuel and Clay are quartz miners.
Samuel S. Frankfather had a record of a timber entry in 9S 50W - but it doesn't look like it was completed.
CLAY
Clay cash-claimed a quarter in 14, 8 South, 49W in 1908.

"Clay Demaree "Todd" Frankfather (son of Samuel S Frankfather and Anna "Annie" Maria Gilson) was born August 28, 1876 in Roca Nebraska, Lancaster County, and died March 22, 1966 in Denver Colorado, Denver County. He married Dacy Lee on February 16, 1902 in Seibert Colorado, Kit Carson County."
In 1910 Seibert, Clay is a salesman in a general store, with Dacy L. 30 born in Iowa, and Dwight L. 5, born in Colorado.
In 1911 C.D. Frankfather of the Seibert Lodge No. 8220 of the M.W.A. Lodges was a delegate to the county meeting at Burlington. C.D. was elected secretary of the county associates.

One researcher wrote that Clay was son of Samuel and Ann Frankfather " Samuel S.Frankfather entry, Nebraska State Census, 7 June 1885, Roca, Saltillo Precinct Lancaster Co, NE, p. 11, Dwelling 46, FHLC 499,561 in the custody of the LDS Family History Center, Salt Lake City, UT. Frankfather, Samuel S., 46, married, grocer, b. OH, father b. MD, mother b. PA; Ann M.,wife, keepinghouse, b. OH, both parents born OH. Manley F., 19, son, single, groc. clerk, b. OH; Arthur E., 16, son, single, laborer, b. OH [Actually he was born on the trip from OH to NE, which was made in a covered wagon.]; Clay D., 9, son, b. OH. [His handwritten history states he was the first child born in Roca.] Mable, 4, daughter, b. OH. [She was born in Roca, NE]. "
In 1911 C.D. Frankfather was an auctioneer listed in the Seibert section of the Business Gazetteer.
In 1920 Seibert, Clay is an auctioneer, 43, Dacy S. 40, Dwight 15.
Clay Demaree Frankfather 1876-1966 is buried in Denver # 71451822, with Dacy Lee 1879-1964
Dwight 1904-1998 , # 134223657 and Helen 1910-2001 are also buried in Denver.

MABEL
1902 "Wyatt Boger and Miss Frankfather drove up to Seibert Wednesday afternoon and spent the day Christmas at their respective homes.

Boger, Wyatt, County Judge, Burlington. Mr. Boger was born in Illinois in 187, settled in the County in 1893, and married Mabel Frankfather. They have five children.:
"Andrew Wyatt Boger (son of Andrew "Andy" Boger and Abigail Brown) was born February 23, 1872 in Viola Illinois, Mercer County, and died September 15, 1953 in Burlington Colorado, Kit Carson County.He married Mabel Frankfather on June 03, 1903 in Siebert Colorado, Kit Carson County, daughter of Samuel S Frankfather and Anna "Annie" Maria Gilson.
