Alfred Doane, son of Cowen Doane and Blene Esterbrook, married Ida Edwards, daughter of Thoo Edwards and Sarah Chambers in Sutherland, O'Brien County, Iowa June 18, 1899.
Possibly the Thos Edwards in 1860 Pike County, Illinois, 40, with Sarah 34, Lydia 14, Nancy 10, Perry 9, Eliza 6, and Sarah 4. Sarah (Haffer) Edwards 1826-1897 is buried in Black Hawk County, Iowa, #18207564, with Thomas Edwards 1822-1907.
Owell Doane, per # 42912666, 1810-1864, is buried in Kendall County, Illinois.
