RAY'S FAMILY
In 1900 Phillips County, Kansas, William Wolfe is farming, born April 1839 in Illinois,
with Pheba Apr 1844 in Illinois, maried 33 years. Ebis January 1877, Robert E. Feb 1883,
and Ray April 1885 were born in Iowa, Ira C. Nov 1890 in Nebraska.
1903 Phillipsburg, Kansas "Ray Wolf and Robert Wolf and wife, of Phillipsburg, attended the Sunday school convention at Plummer Sunday."
1905 "Ray Wolf, who has been in such poor health for the past two years,
was taken to the hospital at St. Joe last Sunday by Dr. Pennington, where be will
receive treatment, and his many friends hope he will soon be restored to health. "

Ray is a carpenter in 1910 Phillips County, Kansas, 25, with William M. Wolfe 71 and Phebe 66. Ira C. Wolfe is 19.

In 1912 Ray Wolfe of Bethune was a witness for the claim of Jay S. Hull for land in 15, 8S 45W.
Ray proved up a quarter in section 9, 8S 45W, Kit Carson County, in 1913. His witnesses were Frank K. McFarland, Homer Kenny, Thomas Spatlin, and Fred Stahdecker, all of Bethune.
At one time his sister Jennie E. (Wolfe) Rumbaugh 1879-1963 was in Cheyenne County, Kansas. She's buried in Harland County, Nebraska # 78174812, wtih Eldon C. Rumbaugh 1876-1926.
1903 Phillipsburg "John Wolfe and family and Elden Rumbaugh and family Sundayed with Elmer Wolfe's of Phillipsburg. "
1905 Phillipsburg, Kansas "E. C. Rumbaugh and family and Mr. and Mrs. Wm Wolfe visited with Eber Wolfe Sunday."
1911 "Mrs. Eber Wolfe and children, of Alma, Neb., came over last week for a visit with relatives in this city. Mrs. E. C. Rumbaugh, a sister of Ray Wolfe, accompanied the visitors and a sort of family reunion has been on since down at the home of Wm. Wolfe."
CLINE'S FAMILY

Cline Marie Scofield proved up eighty acres in section 24, 7S 45W in 1915.
She was busy - in 1914 Eugene, Oregon "Cline M. Scofield, eighth grade;"

Ray A. Wolfe, of Grand Forks, North Dakota, a salesman, 30, born in Iowa to
Wm. O. Wolfe and Pheba Orahood, married Cline M. Scofield, 29, born in Michigan to Wm. Scofield and Laura Bryan, on July 20, 1915 in Lenawee County, Michigan.
Ray Wolfe and Cline Marie Schofield had Walton William Wolfe
in Phillipsburg, Kansas on March 16, 1917. His mother, a school teacher during WWI, contracted the flu, afrom which she later died. Walton was eighteen Months old at the time. Ray later married Mathilda Peterson.
Cline is buried in Lewanee County, Michigan # 93816040.
She might have been in Montana because Ray's brother Ira, born about 1891, was farming in Valley County, Montana in 1920.
Walton married Evelyn Armstrong in Corpus Christi,
Texas on December 19, 1942. He was survived by his wife, Evelyn of Pingree, Idaho. when he died March 8, 2003. Sone Richard (Denette( Wolfe of Pocatello, daughrter Rhea (Gordon) Smith of Twin Falls, son Mike (Deanne Wolfe of Pingree, daughter Marsha (Richard) Nelson of Pocatello, daughter Peggy (Mike) Call of Pocatello, son Jeff (teresa ) Wolfe of Idaho Falls, sister Irene (Wayne) Wolfe of Overland Park , Kansas and Laura (Dell( Wellard of Webb City, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Cline Wolfe, stepmother Mathilda Wolfe, brothers Ray and Harold, and sister Ruth Watson.
Laura Scofield 1856-1939 is buried in Lewanee County # 53405017, with William Bradley Scofiedl 1848-1899.
In 1920 Norton County, Kansas, Ray is 25, widowed, with son Walton 2 born in Kansas. They're living with his brohter Elmer E. 45 adn his wife May M. 43 and three kids.
In 1930 Dekalb County, Missouri, Ray is farming, 45, with Mathilda E. 34 born in Denmark. Harold L. is 14, probably her son. Walton W. 13 born in Kansas, and they have Ray E. 4, Laura E. 2,a nd Irene P. newborn, all three born in Missouri.
Bothilda Elisa Hansen was born January 27, 1892 in Nordor Lygum, Denmark to Johanes Hansen and Laura Laweritsen. She was Bothilda Elisa Wolfe in November 1961.
They're in Jasper County, Missouri in 1940, Ray A. 55, Bochilda 48, Ray E. 14, Laura E. 12, Irene P. 10, and Charles E. 8.
Ray Albert Wolfe born April 24, 1885 in Auburn, Iowa, died April 20, 1951. The informant was Mrs. Dell Willard, Jr. of Carterville.
Ray is buried in Jasper County 1885-1951 # 44878833.

Walton William Wolfe 1917-2003 is buried in Bannock County, Idaho # 23135884,

JAY SCOFIELD
Jay is single, farming in Kit Carson County in 1910.
Jay St. John Scofield proved up 316 acres
in section 30, 7S 44W in 1913.
Elizabeth M. Sherman, 23, married Jay E. Scofield on September 22, 1915 in Rocky Ford, Colorado.
Wesley Scofield 1918-1976 is buried in Rocky Ford # 36442680, with June B. 1922-1982.
Anna Laura Grinstead was born July 5, 1916 in Rocky Ford to Jay E. Scofield and Marie E. Sherwood, dying as Grinstead.
In 1920 Rooks County, Kansas, Jay is farming, 30, born in Michigan, with marie E. 28 born in Indiana. Anna L. 3 and Wesley C. 1 were born in Colorado.
In 1930 Otero County, Colorado, Jay is farming, 40, with Marie 38, Anna L. 13, Wesley 11, Evelyn 7, Rosanna 4, and hmaried's father Charles Sherwood 67.

Jay Elieizer StJohn Scofield, born May 4, 1889 in Lewanee County, MIchigan, registereed for WWII in Napoleonk, Ohio, with a reference of Mrs. A.H. Fline of Napoleon.
That's his sister Laura Lilah Flint 1884-1958 buried in Putnam County, O hio # 128306825, wtih Andrew H. Flint 1866-1950.
Jay Scofield, 83, died in Douglas County, Oregon on January 29, 1973.
Anna L. Grinstead 1916-1989 is buried in Pueblo County, # 41823974, with Lawrence E. Grinstead 1908-1984.
