The pension was sent to his mother Delila Adams.
George T. Weedman was adminstrator of the estate of Norman in DeWitt County, Illinois in 1869.
In the 1860 census of DeWitt County, Asa Weedman was 42, Delilah 39, Jno Wm. 21, Philip 16, Norman A. 14, Barbara L. 11, Henry L. 9, Harry S. 7, Charley N. 5, Jessie 3.
In 1900 Wright County, Iowa, C. M. Weedman is farming, 45 born in Illinois, Joseie 38 Missouri. Albert 18 was born in Illinois, Alfrred 16, Marion 14, and Clyde 10 wee born in Kansas.
With them are his mother Delilah Adams born Sept 1820 in Illinois, widowed. Her gransdsons Seth Weedman March 1878 in Kanss and John Weedman July 1880 in Kanss, and Charles Johnston January 1878 in Kansas.
This is John WILLIAM Weedman, son of Henry Weedman 1850-1910
and Cynthia Ann (Reed) Weedman 1858-1938. He's buried in Webster City, Iowa 1879-1968 # 61477907.a
