ANNA'S FAMILY
Anna's mother Eliza was in Hancock County, Indiana, in 1850, age 14, wtih Jacob 43 and Nancy 40, Sarah E. 18, William N. 16, Hannah A. 15, Eliza 14, Rebecca 12, Martha 11, Merila 9, Clarissa 8, Drucilla 7, Caroline 4, and John A. 1.
J.N. Elsberry, 77, born in Delaware is in Madison County, Ioa in 1885, township 75, range 29.
Eliza Ellsbury and James W. Hargrove married in Hancock
County on January 24, 1855.
(Drucilla Wasson 1844-1879 is buried in Shelbyville,
Indiana # 14440927, "wife of G. Wasson"
In 1880 Vermilion County, Illinois, James W. Hargrove is farming, 43, with Eliza F. 42,
IdA E. 20, James H. 18, Virginia A. 15, Alonzo A. 8, Annie B. 6, and Ollie D. 6, all born in Indiana.
James and Eliza are alone in 1900 Osceola, Iowa, and one tree said they both died in
Poplar Bluff, Missouri, James in 1900, Eliza in 1917.
November 1900 Poplar Bluff " Four persons were killed, one is missing, two were fatally injured, several were severely hurt and at least a dozen more sustained minor hurts in a fire which destroyed the Gifford House.
ETTA HARGROVE leaped from a third story window and suffered broken limbs and internal injuries which will cause her death. "
FindaGrave # 168347710 has a "Mr. Hargrove" dying May 6, 1903 buried in Poplar BLuff.
Eliza E. Hargrove death certificate says she was born Oct 20, 1833 in Wayne County,
Indiana, father Jacob Elsbery, dying October 31, 1917 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, to be buried in the City Cemetery.
Ida married Charles E. Littell in 1881
in Vermilion County, and they moved to South Dakota
and Iowa. One tree said Ida died Feb 7, 1955 in Osceola, Iowa.

Ollie D. married Willis H. Meredith,
and Elisa Hargrove is living with them in 1910 Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Elisa is 72.
LEGRAND'S FAMILY
In 1875 Faribault County, Minnesota, Peter "Peace" is 43, born in "C.W.", mother in New York, father in New Jersey.
Harriet is 32, born in Ohio, Chester 8 and "Legran" 6 in Minnesota.
In 1885 Guthrie County, Iowa, Peter Pace is farming,
52 born in Canada, Harriet 44 in Ohio,
Chester 17 and Legrand 14 in Minnesota, and Lillian 5 in Guthrie County.
Peter Pace 1832-1907 is buried in Emmet County, Michigan # 8806210, with
Harriet Rensimer Pace 1840-1899 # 8806207. She was one of 12 children.
Surname may be Rensimer, Rentzheimer, Ransomer, Rensheimer."
LeGrand Pace, 27, born in Minnesota,
son of Peter Pace and Harriet "Reoviner", who married
Anna Belle Hargrove, 22, daughter of James Wilson Hargrove and Eleza Elsbery, on July 10, 1895 in Clarke County, Iowa.
1899 Illinois "Rev. LeGrand Pace, pastor of the Christian
church of Tuscola, has been presented with two valuable lots in Evanston,
a suburb of Denver, Col. The gift was from Mr. and Mrs. Louis Harvourt,
of Panora, Iowa."
He's in 1900 Buena Vista County, Iowa, a minister, born Jan 1869 in Minnesota,
married five years to Anna Jan 1874 in Indiana. His sister Lillian was born Nov 1878 in Iowa.
Lillian died in Emmet County, Michigan in 1942
Legrand claimed a quarter in section 3, 8S 45W,
Kit Carson County, in 1908.
February 1910 "Friends of Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Petty purchased
the LeGrand Pace residence and have moved it on the Petty
homestead."
In 1910 Poplar Bluff, Missouri, "Lee Grand" Pace is a secretary to the Y.M. C.A., 41 with Anna 36.
Legrand and Anna are in Mission, Texas in 1930 and 1940.
1941 "FOR SALE SMALL CITRUS FRUIT ORCHARD 7 acres,
just outside city limits Brownsville. Will sell cheap and finance
reasonable size home for buyer. SMALL CASH PAYMENT, balance terms to suit.
Address "Owner," Box 67, c-o Herald. Brownsville, or LeGrand Pace, McAllen."
Legrande Pace 1869-1959 is buried in Mission, Texas # 43606334,
with Anna Belle Pace 1875-1945 # 43606396.
His death certificate has him born January 3, 1869, unknown location, dying in Mission on November 16, 1959.
