In May 1868, arriving in New York were Conrad Musshafen 40, Rufina 36, Regina 14,
Leontine 13, Christian 9, Paul 8, BALSAR 5, Bertha 2, and Emma ten months.
Conrad 1828-1871 is buried in Raymond, Montgomery County, Illinois # 34957462.
In 1880 Montgomery County, Illinois, Rophena Musshafen is 47, with Leo 25, Balsther 17,
Bettie 15, and Emma 13, all born in Baden, Germany.
September 9, 1889 "Leo Musshafen,
brother of Mrs. H. Poggenpohl, while standing
on the Main Street railroad crossing in Raymond
this morning, was struck by engine 712 pulling
freight 93 and thrown on the platform with such
force that the back of his head was crushed
and both arms brokem. Dr. Mercer was called
but the injuries were fatal and he died about
9 o'clock. The deceased lived with his sister
about six miles north of town and was deaf and dumb."
Rufina claimed a quarter in section 33, 8S 43W in 1891.

Patrick Noonan is her brother, 42, a farm laborer
and Katie's nephew John H. Noonan 11 born in Illinois.
In 1920 Macoupin County, Illinois, "Boltzer" M. Musshafen is 51, born in Germany, immigrating in 1868, with Kate 54 born in Illinois. They're living with John Noonan born in Washington
and Margaret born in Kansas, both 23.
In 1926 Jacksonville, Illinois, Balsar and Kate (a cook for Oliver Topliff) live at 215 E. Morgan.
Balthaser Melvin Musshafen died in Roxana, Madison County, Illinois on March 30, 1944, mother Regina, spouse Catherine.
Catherine Musshafen, 81, daughter of Patrick Noonan, mother's maiden name Hines, died in Grantie City, Illinois on April 1, 1947.
Michael Noonan, 24, son of Pat Noonan and Annie Hines, married Catherine Young, 23 in Montgomery County, Illinois on October 9, 1895.
MAYBE Catherine was in Grundy County, Illinois in 1880, age 8, with Patrick 42, Hannah 40, John 17, Michael 16, Mary 15, Hannah 13, Ellen 9, and Patrick 11.
December 17, 1941 Decatur, Illinois
" Mrs. Emma Werle, 74, former Harvel resident,
died at 4 a. m. Tuesday in Belleville, recently
her home. Leaves husband, Ferdinand: four children:
William Werle of Kansas City, Kan.:
John and Frank Werle,
and Mrs. Maggie Clossen of East St. Louis,
and a brother. Balster Musshafen, Granite City.
Services at 9 a. m. Thursday in St. Raymond's
Catholic church, Raymond, burial in Asbury cemetery, Raymond. "
