James, of Elbert County, Colorado, cash-claimed a quarter in section 28, 8S 43W in 1890.

Thomas, of Elbert County, Colorado, cash- claimed a quarter in section 19, 8S 43W in 1891. The two quarters touched at the corners of the sections.

John T. Murphy of Elbert County, Colorado cash-claimed a quarter in section 15, 9S 46W in 1891.

ONE POSSIBLE

There's a James H. Murphy in 1870 Massac County, Illinois, 53, a practicing physician, 53. Rachael J. is 43, Martha C. 18, James L. 16, Granville 12, and Adolphus 8, all born in Kentucky. Mary Hanley 77 born in Kentucky is with them.

Mary E. Murphy and W.F. McCoy married in Massac County, Illinois on July 11, 1869.

Granville, 21, and Adolphus 19, are in Pulaski County, Illinois in 1880, with sister Mary E. McCoy 30 and her husband Wm. T. McCoy 34.
W.T. McCoy 73 and Mary 70 are in Poinsett County, Arkansas in 1920.
Their son William Bird McCoy 1889-1955 is buried in Poinsett County # 114578335.
