John claimed a quarter in section 28, 8S 43W in 1890.

He might be the John L. Munsell, a city drayman, in 1900 Schuyler County, Missouri, born March 1865, married eleven years to Ada July 1870 with Edith Aug 1889, Roy Sep 1890, Rolly Nov 1891, - all born in Missouri, Walter Feb 1893 in Colorado, Myrtle June 1894, Burt Feb 1896, Mattie Nov 1897, and Harry Mar 1899, all four born in Missouri.
In 1910 Grady County, Oklahoma, John L. is farming, 44, Ada L. 40, C. Wallis 16, Myrtle O. 15, Bert R. 14, Mattie J. 12, Harry E. 10, Charley F. 7, John H. 5, Mary G. 3, and Thomas L. newborn.

In 1920 they're back in farming in Douglas County, Missouri, John L. 53, Ada L. 49, John H. 15, mary A. 12, Thomas L. 10, Juaniat 6. His father Thomas L Munsell 83 is living with them.

Ada Luvica (Isaacs) Munsell 1870-1945 is buried in Tuttle, Grady County, Oklahoma # 22548743."Services for Mrs. Ada Munsell, 75, 3301 S. Walker, who died Thursday in Wesley hospital, will be at 1pm Saturday in the Garrison funeral home. Mrs Munsell came to Indian Territory and settled near Tuttle. She is the mother of 13 children, and a member of the Christian church in Tuttle. Burial will be in the Tuttle cemetery."

John Lee Munsell, born March 13, 1866 in Missouri, mother Dawkins, died November 11, 1945 in Los Angeles County.
John Lee Munsell 1866-1945 is buried with her # 22548756." Funeral services were held in OKC, Monday, for J.L. Munsell, age 79. He was a pioneer resident of Tuttle and moved to OKC several years ago. Mrs Munsell passed away a few months ago. Burial in Fairlawn cemetery, Tuttle. John Lee Munsell, 79, was born 3/13/1866 at Downing, MO and died 11/11/1945 in Alhambra, CA. Surviving are: 4 daughters; Mrs. Edith Mobley, OKC, Mrs. Juanita Brown, OKC, Mrs. Mary Coker, Norman, & Mrs. Myrtle Hargrove, San Leandro, CA, and 7 sons, Bert, Alhambra, CA, Rollie & T.L., Long Beach, CA, Harry, Los Angeles, CA, Forrest & Harley, Reading, CA, & Wallace of Oakland, CA., 1 sister, Mrs Cal Freshwater of Long Beach and 1 brother Wallace Munsell. "

Charles Forrest Munsell 1902-1965 is buried in Grady County.
Mattie Jane 1897-1912 is also buried there.
Rollie T. Munsell is in Oklahoma City in 1940, age 48, with Emma Munsell, 34 and Gladys Mills 14.
So is Rollie T. Munsell 1891-1946, # 75387348 " Funeral services for R.T. "Rollie" Munsell, Long Beach, Calif, were held in an Oklahoma City Chapel Wednesday. Interment was in Tuttle cemetery"
"MUNSELL Rollie T., Jr., died in his sleep Monday, Apr 29, 1996. He was living with his daughter, Mary Reed in Ocala, Fl. Jr. was born in Tuttle, Ok. May 30, 1913, the only child of Rollie & Sina (Walden) Munsell. He was educated at Chilocco Indian School. He turned professional boxer in 1938, and won the Indian Heavyweight Boxing Championship of the World belt. Rollie was inducted into the Okla. Athletic Hall of Fame in 1977. He is survived by son, John of Denver; daughter & son-in-law, Mary & David Reed & grandson, David Jr.; aunts, Nita Brown of OKC & Mary Coker of Hayward, Ca; & a host of cousins. Burial will be in Reno, Nv."
Rollie Thurman Munsell "Indian" born May 30, 1913 in Tuttle, Oklahoma, had 69 bouts, 56 wins, 11 losses, two draws.

John Harley Munsell 1905-1992 is buried there, with wife Bertha Welch Munsell born 1911.
"John Harley (Jack) [Munsell], 87, met his God on December 28, 1992. He was born August 2, 1905 in Tuttle, Ok., son of John and Ada Munsell. He was a member of Cherokee Hills Christian Church. He is survived by his beloved wife, Bertha; daughter, Geri and her husband, Dr. Max Price; 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; and a sister, Nita Brown, all of OKC; also a sister, Mary Coker of Hayward, Ca.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Superbia Retirement Village Chapel, 9720 Stacy Ct. with interment in Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle, Ok."

So is Juanita (Munsell) Brown # 32596499 "Juanita "Nita", passed away May 8, 1996 at Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City. She was born in Tuttle, Ok. on Friday, February 13, 1913, the thirteenth and last child of John Lee and Ada Luvica (Isaacs) Munsell. She married James L. Brown on November 3, 1933. Nita was a very talented artist, an avid bridge player and a good friend to all who knew her. In 1987, she organized the first senior softball league in Oklahoma City, which became known as "The Nita Brown Softball League". Her family and friends are left with wonderful memories of her grace, compassion and abiding faith in the goodness of others.
Nita is survived by her husband, Jim of the home; one son, James R. (Bob) of Oklahoma City; a sister, Mary A. Coker of Hayward, Ca.; nephew, Dan Meyers and wife, Sharon; as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda in May of 1992. "

Mary A. (Munsell) Coker 1908-1996 is buried in the same Fairview cemetery.
