Born in Harrison, Ohio, on 28 Dec 1858 to John Wesley Millisack and Catherine Overholt. Cassius Marcellus Millisack married Theresa Antonia Fowler and had 2 children. He passed away on 22 Jun 1937 in Burlington, Kit Carson, Colorado.

In 1900 Cassius is a merchant in Sherman County, Kansas, born 1856 in Ohio , with Theresa born July 1860 in Illinois, Frank W. 5, and Catherine 1, both born in Kansas.

"Roy Heston was the Sherman County Treasurer. He resided in the home with his wife and two daughters, Twila and Gloria. The girls enjoyed living in the house which was just two blocks south of where their grandparents, the John Heston’s, lived on the southwest corner of 11th and Main, in the house which was known at the ‘old Millisack house’. A member of the Heston family has indicated that in 1939, the Roy Heston family moved in with the John Heston to help care for him after the death of John’s wife."


Theresa Antonia Fowler was born July 5, 1860 in Monmouth, Warren County, Illinois.

1899 Goodland "C. M. Millisack of this city has purchased the Penfold store at Burlington, Col. The deal was consumated Wednesday and the store will pass into Millisack's control in a few weeks."

June 1900 "A. V. Jesse, manager of Millisack's store at Burlington, spent Sunday in Goodland. "

November 1900 Goodland " Mr. and Mrs. Otto Fowler and Miss Elsie Fowler left for their home in Monmouth, Illinois, yesterday after a visit with Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Millisack and Miss Julia Fowler."

1901 "Crist Buchele, of Burlington, Col., is a new clerk in Millisack's store. C. M. Millisack was at Burlington, Col, Wednesday looking after his branch store. "

1902 Monmouth, Illinois "Mr. and Mrs. Frank Fowler will leave for Goodland, Kan., this evening for a visit with their daughters, Mrs. C. M. Millisack and Miss Julia Fowler. "


1903 Colorado Springs Gazette "Next to Burlington, Seibert is the most Important town in the county. Seibert has but three stores, the general store of C. D. Hutchins, established before the railroad came through the country, a drug store, owned by ex- Sheriff Bert Hendricks, and the general store of Millisack & Jesse."
1903 "Herman Tipton, manager of the Millisack store at Burlington, Colo., was in Goodland Monday.

In 1910 Cassius and Theresa are in Goodland, running a department store, with Frank and Kathryn.

1911 Burlington, Colorado "C. M. Millisack of Goodland was a business visitor in the city Thursday."

1911 "Frank Kelso, manager of the grocery department of the Millisack Mercantile Company, will leave Saturday for Sloan, Iowa, where he will be joined by his wife and baby, who have been absent for several weeks visiting in Deshler, Toleda and Bowling Green, Ohio. Mr. and Mrs. Kelso will return to Goodland about July l. - Goodland Republic "

Theresa Millisack's estate was probated in Denver in 1922.

Cassius Marcellus Clay Millisack married Minnie Fiedler Shrope 1868-1946 in Denver in 1924.
They divorced in Denver in 1925.

In 1930 Denver, Cassius is widowed.

Cassius 1858-1937 # 92336898 and Theresa 1860-1922 # 92336900 share a tombstone in Fairmount Cemetery, Denver.

FRANK

Frank Wesley Millisack and Winona Odiorne married in Austin, Texas on January 22, 1929.

In 1940 Burlington, Colorado, Frank W. Millisack is a real estate agent, 45, born in Kansas, with Winona 31 born in Texs. Carol 7 was born in Colorado.

Carol married Myles W. Chute on July 3, 19159 in Corona Del Mar, California, and in 1960 was living in Inglewood, California.

1952 Aspen, Colorado "Here for the Trap Shoot last weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Millisack of Denver, who spent pleasant couple of days at The Prospector."

Frank W. Millisack 1894-1966 and Winona F. Millisack 1909-2005 share a tombstone in Fairmount Cemetery.

Carol died in 2002 in Pima County, Arizona, buried in Denver # 92336644.
Myles Wotton CHute 1928-1984 is buried in Truro, Massachusetts # 117687470.

Kathryn P. Millisack and N.E. Acton married in Douglas County, Colorado on December 12, 1925>

Kathryn Millisack Acton is buried in Fairmount 1899-1939.

There was another Millisack family in Hugo, Colorado in 1917 "Nellie Reed is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Millisack for a few days."

Mary Louise Reed Harris Aug. 12, 1919 - Feb. 15, 2009
Mary Louise Reed Harris, 89, of Blanco, packed her last suitcase for her greatest trip ever Sunday, Feb. 15, 2009. She has gone to be with her Lord and Savior. She made her last journey at the age of 89.

Born on Aug. 12, 1919, in Colorado Springs, Colo., to Frank and Nellie Millisack Reed, she lived her life as a cowgirl there until she met and married Urban P. Harris from Kingman, Kan.
Her last several years were spent traveling the country, visiting her family in New Mexico, Colorado, Washington, Missouri and Arkansas.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Urban P. Harris.
She is survived by her five children, Marcia Arnold, Al Harris, Kathy White, Bruce Harris and Penny McDowell; their spouses; and countless grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She also is survived by her brothers, Frank, Gene and Darrell Reed; and her sister, Sally Reed.
Visitation with the family will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, at the Livingston Funeral Home in Kingman, Kan. There will be a celebration of Mary's life at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, at the Livingston Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m., Saturday, at the Vinita Cemetery near Murdock, Kan.
