Arthur M. Beatty, 8 South 43 West

In 1880 York County, Nebraska, William Beaty is farming, 54, born in Pennsylvania, Levinia 49 in North Carolina. Carmi is 25, Elmira 24, Benjamin 22, Mary F. 20 teaching school,(all these born in Iowa). Andrew 18 Arthur M. 16, William E. 14, Francis 12, and Joshua 10 were born in Illinois.
In 1885 York County, Nebraska, Arthur Beatty is 21, at college, with Wm. 58, Lavina 53, Carmine 30 and Elmira 29. Mary Beatty is 25, teaching school, Wm. 19 iFrancis 17, and Joshua 15 are farm workers. Clarence Alcot iis a grandson born in February.


Arthur claimed a quarter in section 22, 8S 43W in 1890.

Arthur 1864-1894 is buried in York County # 68950867.

October 1, 1898 Lawrence, Kansas " Miss Agnes A. McKelvey, daughter of a wealthy oil operator at Butler, Pa., and Private Benjamin F. Beatty, Fifth United States volunteers stationed at Jacksonville, Fla., eloped to this city and were married last night. Beatty was off on a furlough. He left for Jacksonville last night."
