Arthur C.(or G.) Willis claimed a quarter in section 10, 8S 42W in 1893.

In 1900 Beaver Valley precinct, Arthur C. Willis is a stock raiser, born December 1860 in Ohio, married 14 years to Katie Willis 39 Wife, born in New Jersey, Harry C. Willis 13 born in Nebraska, Son, Charles H. Willis 11 Son, Foster W. Willis 9 Son, John R. Willis 7 Son, Frankie Willis 5 Son, and Lee B Willis 2 Son, all five born in Colorado.

In July 1888 the Methodist assignments included " Burlingtonā€Supplied by J. M. Willis. "

June 1890 "The Kit Carson county fair association held its annual meeting on last Tuesday at the court house. A goodly number of the shareholders were present; a good feeling was manifested. The following officers were elected for the ensuing term: President, G. W. Jones; vice-president, J. M. Willis; secretary, B. F. Barndollar; treasurer, Daniel Kavenaugh; general superintendent, James T. Jones: directors, G. W. Jones, Daniel Kavenaugh, J. E. Barlow, S. K, King and S. M. Mayfield."

In 1890 the Methodist Episcopal Church assigned J. M. Willis to Canon City.

John M. Willis claimed a quarter in seciton 8, 8S 42W in 1894.

In November 1921, Governor Shoup named 100 prominent citizens to receive Italian General Fernando Diaz, with one of the organizers being John M. Willis of Denver.

April 8, 1891 Denver court schedule " L. C. Willis on the part of the state will make the oponing argument in the Heffner case this morning."

In 1894, Lemuel claimed a quarter in section 7, 8 South 42 West, Kit Carson County.
