"Matilda Davis Larkin whose, died occurred in Denver last Friday, was born at Athens, Illinois, January 10, 1841. The remains were shipped to this city for burial, funeral services being conducted Monday afternoon at Norton Monday 1 o'clock from the Methodist church. Deceased had lived here many years, been a sufferer for some time, and was with a daughter to Denver for treatment in a hospital. An operation was performed to relieve her, but she lived only a short time afterward. The remains were followed to Fairview."

He learned that Mrs. Wallace had refused medical attention, having been a firm believer in the efficacy of faith. "
