"Halleck Stouffer, 77, 1523 Crook street, died at 11:30
Friday evening at Our Lady of Perpetual Help hospital,
where he underwent a major operation Wednesday.
He had a blood transfusion yesterday.
Mr. Stouffer was born Apr. 4, 1866, at Youngstown,
and came to Richardson county when he was 16 years old,
where he had since lived. He was employed in bridge construction
work for Gilligan and Towle for a number of years,
and in 1908 began working for the local telephone company,
with which concern he was actively engaged until 1930.
June 1, 1890 he was married to Hattie Kelly at Salem.
Besides his widow, Mr. Stouffer is survived by a son,
Hollis Stouffer, Falls City, a daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Kinsey,
Shubert, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The body is at funeral home where funeral services
will be held at 10 Monday morning, in charge of Rev. Thomas A.
Young. Burial will be in Steele cemetery.
Members of the Odd Fellows lodge of Shubert will serve as
pallbearers. Mr. Stouffer was a member of the Shubert
chapter."

Charles is with Elsie in the 1920 cenuss, and in March
1943 "Word has been received here of the, died Sunday at her
home in Omaha of Mrs. Elsie Foehlinger,
widow of the late Charles Foehlinger,
former Falls City railroad man. Mrs. Foehlinger was
about 45 years old. Mr. and Mrs. Foehlinger left Falls
City and moved to Omaha 12 years ago. Mr. Foehlinger
died in 1938. Surviving are three sons, Charles,
who is in the army, and Richard and Robert, both at home.
Funeral services and burial will be held Wednesday in
Omaha."

CLYDE
Clyde Vincent Stouffer was born July 22, 1897 at Humboldt, Nebraska, and died February 12, 1942 in Pampa, Texas. His clothes caught fire following an explosion caused by deceased turning on gas in tourist cottage. To be buried in Falls City. He was divorced, an electrician.
