"Mrs. Lucy Thompson, accompanied by her deaughter Marie, left Denver last Tuesday and stopped off a day at Seibert and visited Mrs. Viola Morrison and family, arriving at Burlington Wednesday evening. Marie stood the trip fine. They were met by Mabel Walters and Sadie Gahm, and also by Jennie Weotgarth and nephew, who brought them home In their car. and thv were thankful for the favor for It wee a cold and atormy night ."

Seibert History " Della Hendricks received a lst Grade Certificate in 1915. Della taught First, Second, and Third grades at School District No. 37 in Seibert, for two terms, 1915-1916, and 1916-1917. One of Della's pupils at this time was the son of Mrs. V. Morrison, owner and editor of The Seibert Settler newspaper. During the summer of 1917, when the neighboring town of Burlington was looking for a good teacher for a school 4 miles east of Burlington, District No. 34, Mrs. Morrison unhesitatingly recommended Mrs. Hendricks."

January 1923 "Mrs., A. Viola Morrison, who has been publishing the Wiggins Courier for more than a year, has released tho paper to the owner nnd will shortly establish a paper at Weldona, some distance north.
During the time Mrs. Morrison has been connected with the Wiggins Courier, she has been giving that community n good paper and wo are certain she will be equally successful in her new location."

February 1923 "The Weldona Valley Wonderland made its first appearance last week. Mrs. A. Viola Morrison, editor and publisher of the Wiggins Courier, will the destinies of the new youngster, as well as the Wiggins publication. Mrs. Korrison has named her new paper the Weldon Valley Wonderland, a nusical term, and very appropriate for the new paper.
It is an eight page, five column paper."

December 1923 "Mr. Matthews bought the Weldona Wonderland from Mrs. Viola Morrison of Wiggins. Mrs. Morrison's son Paul has had the management of the Wonderland since it was first established about one year ago. The Tribune is glad to welcome and recommend Mr. Matthews to the newspaper frsternity of Morgan county, having known him for a number of years and no doubt he will give the people of Weldona a real live newspaper and assist in the building up of that community."

July 1926 Jefferson County Republican " Mrs. Viola Morrison, reporter for the Edgewater Echo, spent last week at her former home in Wiggins."

Salem, Oregon " Charles T. Foster, 57, of 273 N. Grant Canby, died Wednesday (December 22, 1965) in a Portland hospital of an apparent heart attack. A native of Harrisburg, he moved here from Portland in 1954. The owner of McCarthy Nursing Home, Portland, and Canby Nursing Home here, he was employed as a dental technician at the State Hospital for the past eight years. He was a member of Oregon Lodge 101, Al Kader Shrine, Scottish Rite and Oregon Consistory.
Surviving are widow Mrs. Nina Foster, Canby; sons Richard and William Foster, both of Portland; daughters Mrs. Donna a Bremerton, and Mrs. Julia Chapin, Canby; mother Mrs. Ruby Foster, Colorado; brother William Foster, Colorado; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in the Canby chapel of Everhart Kent. Interment will be in Denver, Colo."
