" Larsen was laid out on a large scale having 53 blocks and covering the entire quarter section. Among the lot owners were Lee Ramsey, County Clerk ofElbert county; Leo and Lucy Thomann, H.G. Stout, M. Doneland, W.S. Wagner and others who afterwards became prominent in Burlington history. Larsen died so rapidly that in 1890, it sold for taxes at the first tax sale held in Kit Martha and three daughters, Minnie, Pearle and Lena, came out on the Rock Island train several months later. "

1899 Sycamore, Indiana " Mr. Morris and Miss Cora Churchill, both of this city were united in marriage by Rev. Cloyd at the home of the mother, Mrs. Churchill on Christmas. Only relatives were present... served to the Mrs. Cloyd at the home of Mr and Mrs Byron Williams on Monday. Mr. Morris has been in the jewelry business in Sycamore since last spring, and has made an excellent impression. The bride has spent nearly her whole life here, and is admired by all her acquaintances."

"Burial Rites in Ohio Grove for L. Morris Following services which were held in Indianapolis, Ind., Wednesday afternoon, the body of LeConte Morris, 83 years old, was brought to Ohio Grove for burial tin the Ohio Grove cemetery on Thursday. He was the husband of the late Cora Churchill. He suffered a stroke about a week ago at his Indiana home, from which he did not recover. The deceased was a native of New York, and shortly after his marriage here to Cora Churchill, the 'family moved to..... later going to Indianapolis.
Surviving relatives include Mrs. Corelia Wilson of Matlon, Ind., Mrs. Marlon York, and Bertha Morris of Indianapolis, Ind., and Sgt. Paul Morris, who is stationed In Texas. Those lh the funeral party Included his two daughters, Mrs. Marlon York, Bertha Morris, and Sgt. Paul Morris."
