avenue west, announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Florence Gertrude,
to Mr. Robert Lawton McCulloch, of Sugar City, Colorado."
The Saccharine Gazette, Sugar City, Colorado "Mr. R. L. McCulloch, of this city,
and Miss Florence Ellis, of Detroit, Michigan, were joined in the holy bonds of matrimouy last Monday
afternoon at three o'clock, Rev. Heinecken performing the ceremony in the presence of only a few
intimate friends. The groom, ‘Mr. Mack' as he is best known, is one of our hustling business men,
and also a pioneer of Sugar City, having come here from Chicago more than a year ago.
He is a member of the board of aldermen and has been prominently identified with the progress
of the city. Miss Ellis, the bride, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Ellis, a wholesale cigar
dealer of Detroit. Mr. and Mrs. McCulloch are spending the week in Denver, and expect to return to
this city tonight. The Gazette extends congratulations and best wishies."

his wav to Brush, where he has purchased several car loads of hogs to
ship to southeastern Nebraska, which will be fattened for market
this winter, along with a large bunch of steers he is feeding."
