aged 71 years. Was married to Henry
Jennings at Fond-Du-Lac, Wisconsin,
July 7, 1871.
To this union were born seven
children, five now living:
Wm. of Denver, James of Guide Rock,
Nebraska, Chas. and Sam Jennings,
and Mrs. John Warren of this
city (Guide Rock, Nebraska). There are seventeen
grandchildren. She was a loving
mother and friend, always ready
to help those in need, and
especially the sick. She was a
lover of the blessed Bible,
and never was too weary for
prayer and Bible study. She
loved to talk of how the
Saviour ha d revealed to her His
coming in the clouds of glory.
One year ago last May, she
united with the Seventh Day
Adventist church,
of which she was a faithful
member till her, died.
She has been a patient
sufferer for about fifteen
years. A host of loving
friends mourn and extend
their heaitfelt sympathy to
the sorrowing relatives and
especially to Charles, who
took care of her."

Guide Rock, Nebraska, March 30, 1944 " James Herbert Johnson was born at Guide Rock, Nebraska, March 14, 1875. At that time the family lived on the Howard Hunter farm, known then as the Ben Crow farm, five and one-half miles southwest of town.
When he was about five years of age the family moved to Iowa Three or four years later they moved to Burlington Colorado At the age of 17 years James Jennings with the family returned to the Guide Rock community since which time Mr Jennings had made his home here On August 16 1911 he was married to Miss Matie Schultz of Guide Rock The farm one mile west and one mile south of town has always been their home Three children were born to them: Herbert of Dunning Mrs Gladys Mahon of Haigler and Alyce Mae of the home After k'tew'days illness Mr Jennings was taken to Mary banning hospital at Hastings where he was cared for about two weeks He passed away" at 10:30 Sunday morning March 26 1944 aged 69 years 12 days He is survived by his wife the three children four grandchildren two brothers Will and Sam Jennings of Denver Colorado and one sister Mrs Rhoda Warren of Fort Morgan Colorado He was preceded in, died by his parents an infant brother and a brother Charles He was a member of the IOOF and A lodges here at Guide Rock.

"Funeral services will be held in Denver, Colo.,
for Floyd Sullivan, 4007 Mountain View Drive,
who died Tuesday in Goodland, Kans., while on a vacation trip
with his wife. He was 59. Mr. Sullivan was a service dispatcher
for Puget Sound Power and Light Co.,
and had resided in Bremerton since 1941. He began work
that year as a service man for the company, later was
advanced to operator, and ultimately to his last position.
He was born April 15, 1898, in the city where he died.
Mr. and Mrs. Sullivan had been married more than 30
years. She was with him at the time of his, died.
Surviving, besides his wife, Mrs. Hazel Sullivan,
are two sisters residing in New Mexico and Wyoming,
and five children, including a daughter,
Mrs. Paul Plass of California, and a son, Gene Sullivan,
also of California. Mr. Sullivan had been ill the past
six years."
