" Glen Elfers, 58, of 1419 So. 51st St., a painter, who had lived in Tacoma for 40 years,
died Thursday (February 9, 1950) in a local hospital. He was born in Goodwell, Mich.
Surviving are his wife, Edna, a daughter, Mrs. Bette Rasor of Bremerton, a son Glen Jr.,
and his mother, Mrs. Caroline Elfers, both of Tacoma, two brothers, Fred of Seattle and
Charles of San Leandro, Calif., and three grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday at 3 at the Piper chapel, the Rev Herbert West officiating.
Burial will be in Mountain View memorial park.
Pallbearers will be Ed Haggis, Donald Harris, Sam Mounts, Marris Henderzon,
Carl Forbes, and Ensley Mathews."

Sophia's brother William Harm is a carpenter in 1900 Cripple creek,
born March 1870 in Minnesota, with Martha 22 and son Roy 2. His sister May M. Dawson born December 1872 and her son Glen February 1900.
Martha Roy, 14, had arrived in Baltimore August 25, 1892 with Maria Roy 38 and Clara 11.

Martha Harm, 41, died in Grant County, Washington on March 1, 1920.
In 1930 Long Beach, California,
William H. Harm is 60, now married to Sylvia V. Harm 47 Wife.
Sylvia's father had died in 1928 in Iowa "Taylor Crose, a Civil war veteran and
member of August Wentz post, G. A. R., died at 9:30 p. m. yesterday at his home, 710 Harrison street.
He was 81 years of age at the time of his, died and had suffered ill health for the last few years.
During the Civil war he was a member of Co. D., Sixty-fifth Illinois infantry, and served
during the greater part of the war period. Mr Crose was born March 2i, 1S47, at Bloomington, I11.
He received his early education there and had enlisted in the northern armies
when only l? years of age. Following the war he bad returned to Illinois.
He was married to Miss Sarah K. Oornman on Nov. 30, 1875, at Rushville, where the couple made
their home for many years. They had resided in Davenport since 191S. z
Surviving, besides his wife, are five daughters, Mrs Cora Thomas Letts,
Mrs. Jessie Timmerman of Pine City, Mrs. Sylvia Harms of Long Beach,
Mrs. Ruth Roberts of Portland, and Mrs. Agnes Krell of Burlington:
two sons, Ralph of Webster City, and Arthur of Davenport; one sister,
Mrs. Orlanda Saunders of New Boston, Il1.: 27 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The body was taken to the Runge mortuary, where the funeral will be 2 p. m. Tuesday,
with burial in Oakdale cemetery."

He is survived by his wife and two sons, Roy, Spokane,
and Ralph of Long Beach; two brothers, Frank of La Crosse
and Fred, Tacoma, and four sisters, Mrs. Kriese and
Mrs. Lizzie Nimetz, La Crosse, Mrs. Sophia Stephens, Tacoma, and Mrs. Mary Dawson, Portland, Ore..

June 1939 Steamboat Springs "Mrs. Theodore Hieber has issued
invitations to the marriage of her daughter, Gertrude Edna, to Rev. Oscar Richard Graumann,
pastor of the Lutheran church in Steamboat Springs, on Sunday, June 25.
The ceremony will be performed at St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran church at Lone Wolf, Okla.
Rev. Graumann wUl leave here Sunday for Oklahoma. He came to Steamboat Springs in July 1938,
from St. Louis, Mo., where he was graduated from Concordia seminary. His first pastorate was the
church here. He will be ordained on his return to Steamboat Springs.
Rev. Luessenhop of Colorado Springs will officiate.
The bride-elect has been teaching at Sentinel, Okla., for the past two
years. She received her higher education at Oklahoma college for wemen. She has been teaching the fifth
grade and music and is head of the dramatics department.
July 1940 "Rev. and Mrs. O. R. Graumann had as their guests several days last week,
Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Graumann of La Mesa, Tex., and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Graumann of Granite, Okla.
The men are cousins. Mrs. O. R. Graumann's mother and sister, Mrs. Theodore Hieber and Lenora Hieber,
left today for their home at Lone Wolf, Okla., after a visit of three weeks."
Rev. Graumann and his bride will be at home in Steamboat Springs after July 1."
