Mr. and Mrs. Dan Heer, 1200 Pierre street, and Mr. Raymond Lorn Lanfear, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Albert Lanfear of Francis, occurred at 8 o'clock Saturday evening in the First Methodist Episcopal church.
The Rev. B. A. Rogers, student pastor, read the double ring service. The altar before which the
bridal party stood during the ceremony was banked with potted ferns, palms and evergreens,
interspersed with Easter lilies and primroses. White tapers in Cathedral standards, were lighted
by Mr. Ernest Jones and Mr. Delbert, who also acted as ushers. Preceding the ceremony, Donald Engle
at the organ, played, "Ah, Sweet Mystery of Life," "At Dawning" and as the bride and her attendants
approached the altar, the wedding march from Lohengrin. During the service he played 'Uebestraum,"
and Mendelssohn's wedding march for the recessional.
The bride wore a floor length dress of white satin with a short train, and carried a shower bouquet
of lilies of the valley, sweet peas, and violets. She also wore flowers in her hair.
Miss Irene Heer, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Her dress was -of yellow sheer silk,
and Miss Zora Knox, bride's maid, was dressed in turquoise blue waffle crepe. Both girls carried
an arm bouquet of Tailsman roses and lavender sweet peas.
Mr. Ernest Jones was best man. Mr. and Mrs, Lanfear left immediately after the wedding for
Ellensburg, where they will make their home. The bride is a graduate of Manhattan high school
