September 22, 1894

of the Gallup Realty company, continues te be serious last night, according to attending
physicians at St. Joseph’s hospital. He is believed teo ba suffering frem an abdominal infection,
and if no improvement is noted soon, an operation probably will be performed.
Mr. Gallup is the only surviving member of the first board of directors of the
Denver Real Estate exchange, of which he was president in 1901."
October 29, 1922 "An antenuptial pact had to be set aside before Mrs. Marian F. Gallup, widow of the late John C. Gallup, widely-known real estate dealer, could benefit by the terms of a will, admitted to probate yesterday. The agreement was revealed when the will was presented in county court yesterday. By the terms of the document, Mrs. Gallup is made beneficiary to onefourth of the estate. A codicil was inserted in the will by Mr. Gallup, stating that he deslred the agreement to be set aside so that she could take and claim her interest in the estate. The agreement was drawn Oct. 1, 1914, - John H. Gallup, a son, is cut off without a cent by his father, the will reading, “because of money advanced to him and for reasons well enough known to the family and attorneys.” The value of the estate was not made public, but the yearly income is sald to exceed $12,000. outbreak of hostilities, leaving with the Colorado cavalry, which was later demobilized
