In 1880 Ellsworth, Kansas, George Epperly is farming, 43, born in Kentucky, Sarah 30, WILLIAM 11, Hiram 8, Margarette 3, and Casablanca, a son, eight months.

In 1900 Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory, William Epperly is farming, born July 1868 in Missouri, married eight years to Nonie January 1871 Arkansas. She's had three children, Mabel June 1892, Maude November 1893, and Blanche June 1895, all three in the Territory.

" William Epperly, 71 years old, widely known farmer of Latimer County, died October 13, 3:30 at the St. Edward Hospital, Siriilh, Ark. Mr. Epperly had been in bad health for more than three years. He became bed fast in the late part of August, was taken to the Hospital September 23, where he remained until his, died Friday morning. He had lived in the Peachland Community for 38 years, and up until his health failed him, was an active booster for welfare of the community, especially for good schools and roads. He was known by his friends as ??, which was the name he liked best. Mr. Epperly was born in Chariton County, Missouri, July 1, 1868, son of George Epperly and Jennie Shelton Epperly, and while a small boy he moved with his parents to Kansas to Benton County, Ark. He was married in 1891 to Miss Nona Conley of Rogers, Ark., shortly afterwards they moved to the Indian Territory near what is now LeFlore, Oklahoma. In 1901 he moved with his family to the community near Bengal, where he resided on a farm until his, died., In addition to his wife, survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Mabel Chaffin of Bengal, Okla., Mrs. Blanche Krone of Oklahoma City, four grandchildren, Eldred Wade, Russell Krone, Jr., Nona and Neoma Krone, all of Oklahoma City, one brother Caddie Epperly of Bengal, Okla., and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held Saturday afternoon at the Peachland Cemetery. Rev. Robert Shed, Baptist Minister, officiated. Pall bearers were Jesse Lewis, Jesse Lee, Cecil Cook, Hempbill, William Goforth, and Devine."
