Mr. Stout was born at Burlington, Jan. 9, 1886.
He married Edna Mary Winningham Aug. 27, 1913, and they moved to Gypsum the following year.
He was a member of the Methodist Church at Gypsum. Surviving in addition to his wife are
five sons, Ira of Grand Junction, Rex and Leo, both of California, Richard of Minturn,
and Dale of Gypsum;
four daughters, Mrs. Lynn Price and Mrs. L.D. Bennett, both of Gypsum;
Mrs. Robert Bowen of Denver, and Mrs. Jim Southerland of Eagle;

"This community was shocked beyond expression Thursday afternoon,
by the sudden, died of W. W. Brinkley. The summons came while Mr.
Brinklev was riding in his auto. He was carried from the machine into
the C-eglow drug store in an unconscious condition and expired a few
minutes later. In the, died of W. W. Brinkley,
Burlington is bereft of one of her best cititens and a pioneer of eastern Colorado.
That person never lived that ever heard W. W. Brinklev speak an ill word of anyone.
The board of directors of the Burlington State Bank, of which he was a member,
has lost a valued counselor. The deceased leaves a widow, two daughters and a son to
mourn his, died. The funeral services will be held Sunday, at 2 p. m.,
under the auspices of Burlington Lodge No. 152, I. O. O. F. of which order he held
the office of Past Grand."
In 1917 Permilia was plaintiff, and defendants Ida May Koser, Alta Bell Rutherford and Louis Wallace Brinkley, and the court ordered seven quarters in township 9S 42W be sold.
