POSSIBLE

In 1880 Warrick County, Indiana, William Rice is farming, 65, with Eliza 54. Alfred was born June 1878 in Indiana, John 16 in Indiana. Ellen Parker is widowed, 27, with son Virgi Parker 3.

Alfred M. Rice proved up a quarter in township 11S 54W in 1912 - Lincoln, County, Colorado. He proved up another quarter in that township in 1915.

In 1914 Lincoln County, Colorado "Mr. John Vincent and family spent Sunday at Alfred Rice's."

Alfred Mellville Rice registered for WWI in Hugo. farming, born January 3, 1879, with Grace his wife.

In 1920 Lincoln County, "Alfred M. " Rice is 39, farming, with Grace A. 43, both born in Indiana. Cecil R. 14, Nellie M. 12, Myrtle A. 10, Cleo J. 8, Florence R. 6, Joseph W. 4, and Carl B. 1 - all bonr in COlorado. Grace's wiidowed father Joseph Potter 67 borni Ohio is with them.

Alfred M. Rice 1878-1971 is buried in Hugo, # 9277993, with Grace A. 1886-1958 # 9277983.

Cecil Ralph Rice 1905-1976 is buried in Arriba, Colorado # 76196957, with Evelyn Luella (Everett) Rice 1908-1998.

Nellie M. Rice married Lowell Fletcher on June 4, 1933 in Lincoln County.
She's buried in Hugo 1907-2002 # 9269088, with Lowell 1911-1984.

Myrtle 20 and Cleo 18 are boarding with their uncle John Rice 40 and his family in 1930 Denver.

Joseph W. Rice 1915-1990 is buried in Willamette National # 3927180, with Mary Catherine 1920-2001.

Karl B. Rice 1918-1994 is buried in Littleton # 142079133, Doroththy M. Rice 1924-2014 # 142079145.



POSSIBLE - but he would have been only 18 when claiming land... Fred H. Rice in Holly, olordo, born August 11, 1890 at Muscotah, Kansas, working at the Holly Elevator Company, with a wife and two children.

LESS LIKELY - because they immigrated in 1910 - Fred Rice is a butcher in 1920 Greeley, with Elizabtehr 4, both born in Russia, and six kids all born in Colorado.

ONE POSSIBLE - Fred H. Rice is a shoemaker in 1910 Livingston County, Michigan, 30, with Anna M. 31 born in Canada,and Russell L. 9 born in Michigan.
Fred H Rice, 21, son of H. H. Rice and Maggie Sanford, married May Stoliker, 20, born in Canada to Daniel Stoliker and Amelia Pincomb on July 5, 1899 in Howell, Livingston County.

They have a shoe store in 1920 Howell, Michigan, and in a shoe store in Los Angeles County. Fred is buried in Melrose Abbey, Anahem, 1879-1943

MORE LIKELY -
In 1900 Osborne County, Kansas, Fred H. Rice is a farm laborer, 14, with widowed father Edwin P. Rice 43. Clarence is 11, Merton 6, and servant Ada Melery is 26.

They're in Matagorda County, Texas in 1910. Edwin is 53, married to Ada E. 33, with Sylvia May Rice 3. Merton is 16.

Fred is a lumber man in 1910 Matagorda County, 24, born in Nebraska, with Grace 23 born in Kansas.
