He might be the same one who cash-claimed a quarter in section 18, 1N 47W, Yuma County, in 1891,
and proved up a quarter in 22, 1N 48W, Yuma County in 1895.
The Yuma postmaster advertised mail left for M. Egan in November 1899.
Kate Egan was delinquent on taxes for property in 19, 1N 48W in 1899.
Michael was delinquent on taxes in
1901 for property in 22, 1N 48W.
In March 1911 Michael Egan was named as a suit regarding land in 23, 1N 48W.

1900 Denver, born Nov 1857 in Ireland, immigrating in 1882,

Mary Frances Egan, daughter of Michael, was born in Denver on April 8, 1890 - when she applied for a passport in 1920 was living in Missouri.
