at Southwest Medical Center, Liberal. Born Jan. 19, 1908,
at Douglass, he married Maxine Kallenbach May 18, 1948,
at Rolla. He was a retired farmer and
a resident of Rolla since 1928. He was a member
of the United Methodist Church, Rolla. Survivors: wife,
of the home; sons, Raymond, Liberal, Randy, Rolla;
daughter, Alfreda Vaughn, Hugoton; brother,
Earl, Rolla; sisters, Frances Bozone, Rolla,
Gertrude Gerber, Scottsdale, Ariz.; and two grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church,
the Rev. Merton Spaulding. Burial will be at the Rolla Cemetery. "

She was born March 14, 1921 on the family farm North of Rolla, Kansas the daugther of Bob And Gertie (Helfrich) Chambers. Coral, a lifelong Morton County resident, attended Rolla Schools and graduated from Rolla High School in 1939. She loved playing the drums and piano, she even traveled to Washington D.C. with the Morton County Lions Band to play for President John F. Kennedy's Inauguration. She also enjoyed painting, collecting dolls, and gardening. On May 20, 1939 she married Earl Edelman in Hugoton, Kansas. He preceded her in death. On February 15, 1985 she married Ed Bucher in Las Cruses, New Mexico.Coral is also preceded in death by 1 son, Earl Robert Edelman, 1 daughter, Kathy Edelman, and 2 great-grandchildren. "
"Graveside service for Earl Robert Edelman,
50, will be at 10:30 a m. Saturday at the Rolla Cemetery,
the Rev. Mike Keating officiating. He died Jan. 15, 1991,
at Morton County Care Center, Elkhart. Born April 25, 1940,
at Liberal, he was a Wichita police officer for 13 years
and had been an Elkhart resident for four years, moving
from Wichita. Survivors include two daughters,
Kristy Stuenkel, Overland Park, and
Stephanie Edelman, Wichita; his father, Earl V. Edelman, Rolla;
his mother, Coral Bucher, Truth or Consequences, N.M.;
two brothers, Richard Edelman, Rolla, and Tom Edelman,
Branson, Mo.; and a granddaughter. "

Frances Mary Bozone, 90, died Feb. 21, 2000, at Morton County Care Center, Elkhart.
She was born Feb. 20, 1910, at Flagler, Colo., the daughter of Carl Alfred and Elsie Mae Jones Edelman. A rural Rolla resident, she was a registered nurse and homemaker.
She belonged to United Methodist Church, Hugoton.
In 1934, she married Samuel W. Bozone at Oklahoma.
Survivors include: two sons, Peter, Cusseta, Ala., and David, rural Rolla; a sister, Gertrude Gerber, Scottsdale, Ariz.; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a son, Billy Lee; two brothers, Alfred and Earl Edelman; and a sister, Pauline Dooley.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Hillcrest
Cemetery, Florence, with Brother Peter Bozone presiding.
David Michael Bozone, 71, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018, at his residence in rural Rolla.
He was born Oct. 6, 1946, in Seward County to Samuel W. and Frances (Edelman) Bozone.
He was a graduate of Hugoton High School.
A lifetime resident of Stevens County, he farmed and ranched in Stevens and Morton counties.
He married Shirley Livengood on May 24, 1969, in Morrill. They later divorced.
On Dec. 16, 2013, he married Doris Roberts in Hugoton.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Roberts, of Rolla; a son, Brandon Bozone of Hugoton; a daughter, Shannon Schneider of Wamego; a brother, Pete Bozone of Wyoming; stepdaughters, Shawna Roberts and Tane Jones, both of Denver; two grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Billy Bozone.
