In 1875 Washington County, New York, William Chamberlin is 51, Nancy M. 47, William C. 19, Mary 18, Elmer E. 13, James H. 11, Fanny and Charles both 7.

William 1824-1890 # 65249932 is buried in Salem. "married 1- Martha Carswell daughter of Ira, after her death in 1854 he married Nancy Carswell daughter of David."
Nancy 1828-1892 is buried in Salem # 65250024.


Herbert R. Cleveland, son of Turner Shepherd Cleveland, married Mary Chamberlin on October 24, 1878 in Baxterville, New York. Both were born in Salem, Washington County, New York, according to Charles Herbert Clevand's birch certificate, born Dec 2, 1891 in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Clarence John Cleveland was born in Minneapolis to Herbert Russell Cleveland and Mary Chamberlin on July 23, 1889.

In 1900 Gage County, Nebraska, Herbert is farming, born January 1855 in New York, Mary May 1857 in New York, Harry C. Dec 1879 in New York, Nellie M. Sept 1884 and Clarence J. July 1889 both in Minnesota, and Charles A. Dec 1891 in Iowa.
In 1910 Kit Carson County, Herbert R. 55 and Mary 52 are farming, both born in New York, married 3 years. Mary's had five kids, four living.

Clarence married Winnie A.A. Bassett on Dec 2, 1915 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Jack - mother Howe - Cleveland was born in Santa Cruz County, California May 23, 1926.

Clarence is a sewer contractor in 1930 Los Angeles, divorced, 42, with Forrest 13, Dorothy 12, Donald 10, Maeand Marie d8, Roy 7, and Jack 4.

Clarence died March 11, 1972 in Santa Cruz County, California.

Forrest C. Cleveland and Alice M. Rose married in Los Angeles on March 30, 1937.

In 1940 Los Angeles, Forrest is 24, married but no spouse, Mae and Marie 19, Roy 16, Jack 14.
Dorothy is with them, 22, married to William McDonald 25 with two sons.

HARRY

Harry, 24, married Laura Belle Moffet on March 1, 1904 in Wymore, Gage County, Nebraska.

They're in Meade County, South Dakota in 1910, farming, Laura born in Kansas, with Helen, 4, born in Nebraska

They're in Box Butte County, Nebraska in 1920, with Helen and Mildred 8.

Harry and Laura are in Yakima, Washington in 1930, and Cornelia J. Moffit 75 is with them.

Harry C. Cleveland, born Dec 3, 1879, died May 17, 1962, buried in Yakima, Washington # 179067285, with Laura 1887-1966.

Cornelia June Moffet 1855-1940 is also buried there # 145142589.

Helen Mae Schultz, born June 2, 1905 in Nebraska, died in Sacramento County Sept 24, 1957.

Mildred C. Cleveland was born Feb 14, 1911 in White Owl County, South Dakota,

Mildred Cleveland, 17, married Walter J. Noel on Feb 16, 1928 in Yakima.

They're in Yakima in 1940, Walter 31 and Mildred 29.

Mildred Noel married Otis Wallingford on July 22, 1942 in Yakima, Washington>
She was named Rasmusson in 1979, Wallingford in 1972, and Rasmusson in 1993.

HELEN

Helen M. CLeveland, 21, married John R. Livengood on Dec 27, 1905 in Beaver City, Furnas County, Nebraska.

They're in Allen County, Kansas in 1910, both 24, with George 1.

They're buried in Abilene, Kansas Helen 1884-1980 # 59528133, and John R. 1886-1957.

CHARLES

Charles Cleveland and Hellin E. Johnson married in Minneapolis on June 15, 1912.

Charles and Helen (born about 1890 in Sweden, immigrating in 1905) are in Minneapolis in 1920 and 1930.

Charles applied for a birth certificate in 1942, living at 7517 Humboldt Ave South, Minneapolis.

1952 San Mateo "Newly engaged couples include Barbara Ann Cleveland, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. Cleveland of Millbrae Highlands, and Cpl. Frank Wilkerson Batsch, a Southern California lad now stationed at Kirtland air force base in New Mexico. The Clevelands entertained a group of family members and close friends at dinner recently to reveal their daughter's betrothal. A February wedding is planned. Barbara, who is currently attending San Mateo Junior college, is a graduate of Burlingame High school. Her fiance is the son of Mrs. George M. Morton, who, with Mr. Norton, divides her time between residences in Coronado and Rancho Margarita at El Cajon. Frank studied at Brooks school in North Andover, Mass., and was attending Claremont college before entering the air force."

He died September 4, 1973 in San Mateo County, California, saying he was born in Nebraska, but his birth certificate has him born in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
"Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Dmra - Rantileman Funeral Home in Half Moon Bay for Charles Herbert Cleveland, who died at Kaiser Hospital in South San Francisco after an illness. Interment will be at Sky Lawn Memorial Park. Cleveland lived with his wife, Lillian, on Lancaster Boulevard in Moss Beach for the past six years. Previously they lived in Millbrae for 24 years. A retired salesman, Cleveland was a native of Nebraska. In addition to his widow, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Batsch of Columbus, Ohio, a sister, Nellie Livingood of Abilene Kansas, and three grandchildren. "

In 1986 Frank and Barbara Batsch are living at 2580 Clairmont Court in Columbus.
