Daniel and Arcenia (Haywood) Williams , 7 South 50 West


One tree says he was the son of Thomas J. Williams 1842-1907 and Nannie Bryant 1851-1906.

In 1880 Laurel County, Kentucky, Thomas is 37, Nannie 29, Daniel 15, Alice 13, William 10, James 4, Mary 2.
Nannie's brothers James Bryant 24 and John 20 are with them.

Anna Lee Keyes, born October 21, 1892 in Kentucky to father Williams and mother Bryant, died March 22, 1981 in Los Angeles County.

Daniel Williams married Cena Haywood on September 4, 1889 in Cameron, Clinton County, Missouri.

She was born September 9, 1869 in Clinton County, to John Haywood and Susanna Pawley.

In 1900 Clinton County, Missouri, Daniel Williams is farming, born July 1865 in Kentucky married ten years to Cenia Sept 1869 Missouri. John H. April 1890, Louhamah Sept 1892, and Nettie F. Sept 1894, all three born in Missouri.

In 191 Clinton County, Daniel has "own income" 45, born in Kentucky, with "Denia" 40, Lou H. 17, Nettie F. 15, Ione 7, an Margaret L. 2, all born in Missouri.

Daniel claimed two quarters in section 35, 7S 50W in 1916.

In 1920 Kit Carson County, Daniel is farming, 54, born in Kentucky, with Cenia 50 Missouri and Aileen 12 Missouri.

Daniel and Cenia are alone in 1930 Denver, no occupations.

Daniel and Cenia, farming, are in the 1935 Denver directory, living at 1625 Utica.
They're in Denver in 1940, Daniel 74 and "Lenia" 70

Arcenia Rose (Haywood) Williams # 98701840 has an unknown burial and death date.

LOU

Lou H. (Williams) Hahn 1892-1976 is buried in Brookfield, Linn County, Missouri # 129949988, marrying Hiram Hahn in 1911.
Her only child Howard Dewitt Hahn 1912-1973 is also buried there # 139087764.

Ione Dombeck, born Sept 3, 1902, died September 1977, last residence Denver.

NETTIE

Nettie Florence (Williams) Glick 1894-1994 is buried in Fort Collis, COlorado # 43322873.

"Nettle Florence Glick, 100, of Fort Collins and formerly of Sterling, died Wednesday, Sept. 2 1,1994, in Fort Collins. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until the funeral Sunday, Sept. 25, at Tennant Funeral Home. Funeral is 1:30 p.m., also at the funeral home with the Rev. Christine Wolcott Richardson officiating. Cremation will follow the service.
Mrs. Click was born in September 8, 1894 to Daniel and Arcenia Rose Haywood Williams in Cameron, Mo.
She had lived in Sterling since 1927 and was a dressmaker and seamsiress. She was an avid quilter and made quilted lap robes, donating them to nursing homes.
She is survived by a daughter, Marilyn Radford and husband Frank of Fort Collins; four grand children, Carol Marostica of Loveland, Patricia Korb of Fort Collins, Marcia Tysdal of San Martin, Calif., and Mark Ramey of Las Vegas, Nev.; 13 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grand children."

MARGARET

Margaret Lee Williams and William R. Klepper, both of Kansas City, Missouri, married there on December 24, 1929.

They're in Gentry County, Missouri in 1930, William a hardware merchant, 22, Margaret 22 - saying she and her parents wee born in Missouri.

"Reynolds" Klepper married Fern Chaney, 19, on December 21, 1933 in Clay County, Missouri.

JOHN

John Haywood Williams registered for WWI in Flagler, born April 6, 1891 at Cameron, Missouri, farming, married.

John H. is also in Kit Carson County in 1920, 29, with Viola A. 20 born in Kansas. Roberta A. is 1, born in Colorado.

In 1930 he's working at a cream station in Flagler, 39, with Viola A. 30, Roberta 11, Maxine 9, andAgnes F. 8.

In 1940 John is driving a tractor for county road work, 50, wtih Viola 40 and Agnes 18.

He's buried in Flagler 1890-1970 # 23702590.
"John H. Williams, 80, Flagler, Colo., brother of Mrs. Lou Hahn, died yesterday evening in a Hugo, Colo., hospital. Mr. Williams, who was a retired farmer, had been a patient in the Colorado hospital several months. Survivors include his widow, Viola, of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Roberta Masten, Salida, Colo., Mrs. Maxine Kaleber, Prosser, Wash., Mrs. Agnes Shart, Castle Rock, Colo.; three sisters, Mrs. Hahn of Brookfield, Mrs. Nettie Glick, Sterling, Colo., and Mrs. Ione Dombeck of Denver. Services will be held Friday in Flagler."
