and Eliza 24. Lawrence is 4, Austin 2, all born in Iowa. The household before them is Amelia Groves 40 an orphan and Alber 13 a laborer.
Stella is in Fayette County, Iowa in 1880, nine months old, with Simon 44 and Lucy A. 36. Ina is 13.
Simon, per one tree, died May 11, 1892 in Knox County, Nebraska.

Austin 22, Ira C. 19, Alvin T. 17, Sarah A. 12, Hayden 8, Iva M. 6, and Earl C. 3.
Stella is in Knox County, Nebraska, in 1900, born August 1879 in Iowa, with mother Lucia H. Shaffer, widowed.
Sister Mary is 16, born in Nebraska.l They're with Lucia's brother Earnest Owen 31 born in Iowa and their parents Ambrose Owen 86 and Marva J. 74, both born in Vermont.
Waldo 1848-1928 is buried in Holt County, Nebraska # 107042641,
with Eliza Caroline (Saylor) Groves 1854-1936.

with Stella 50. Max M. is 18 and Morton L. 15, both born in Colorado.
Stella's mother Lucia A. Shaffer 85 born in Illinois is with them.
In 1940 O. A. 66 and Stella 60 are in Denver, with son Morton 25 - works in animal husbandry at the Federal Building.
Orren is buried in Flagler 1873-1950 # 15794993,
"Pvt 50th Iowa Infantry, Spanish-American War. Stella Glen (Shaffer) Groves 1879-1983 is buried with him # 15795016.
So is Max M. Groves, WWII Navy 1911-1986.
