Ferdinand Enzmann, 7 South 50 West



Ferdinand Enzmann, 36, a laborer last residence Resiaza, Hungary, arrived in Baltimore on May 14, 1903. He was going to Patton, Pennsylvania where a friend Josef Polekla lived.

In 1910 Logan County, Illinois, Fred "Encmann" is a coal miner, 48, with Louise 40 and Margaret 14.
Fredinand claimed the north half of section 34, 7S 50W in 1916.
In 1920 Logan County, Illinois, Fred Enzman is a coal miner, 52, born in Hungary, with Louise 49, both immigrating in 1903 and daughter Margaret Wycoff 22, also immigrating in 1903. Louise 4, Grace H. 3 were born in Colorado, Florence B. 2 in Illinois.

Emil Wykofka 1887-1920, # 159915446 is buried in Logan County.
His father Emanuel 1863-1925 is buried in Springfield, Illinois # 33418517.

Ferdinand Enzmann 1867-1929 is buried in Logan County, Illinois # 16162388, with Louisa (Goretzki) Enzman 1870-1924 # 131022154. (Yes, the FindaGrave has a different spelling)

Louisa was born September 29, 1870 in Hungary to Joseph Goretzki and Amelia Hidra, dying January 9, 1924 in Lincoln, Illinois.

Emil Wycoff and Margaret Enzmann, both of Springfield, Illinois, married in St. Louis Missouri on April 11, 1914.

Emil registered for WWI in Huerfano County, Colorado, born August 17, 1887 in Austria, farming, with a wife and two children.

Emil died February 13, 1920, in Logan County, son of Emil E. Sycoff Sr. and Minnie Leikner, both of Hungary.

In 1930 Springfield, Illinois, Margaret is 32, married to Alfonso Fiorentino, 43. Louise Wycoff is 15, Grace 13, and Florence 12.

In 1940 Springfield, Illinois, Margaret Fiorentino is widowed, 42, living next to Amelia Wykoff 76 widowed born in Hungary, with Louise 25 born in Colorado.

Margaret Fiorendino, 45, of Springfield, Illinois, married Charles H. Robbins, 57 of Wellston, Missouri, married in St. Louis on September 20, 1942.
She died in Wentzville, Missouri on September 4, 1978. Charles died January 1, 1958 in Chandlerville, Cass County, Missouri.
Charles is buried in Springfield, Illinois 1885-1958 # 137730643, with Nettie who died in 1939.


One tree said Grace Helen Wykoff, born April 18, 1916 in Colorado, died January 28, 2009 in Williamson County, Texas. Her husband Harold Emery Robbins 1917-1984 died in Washington County, Illinois.
Another said she died in Elgin, Bastrop County.
Harold Emery Robbins, Charles' son, 1918-1984 is buried in Washington County, Illinois # 167445467, ...

Her son Terrence Duane Robbins 1937-1961 died in the VA hospital in St. Louis, is buried in Jefferson Barracks, St. Louis. His widow was Kay Frances Robbins of Charleston, South Carolina.

Florence Bertha Wycoff was born November 28, 1917 in Lincoln, Illinois.
In 1940 Springfield, Illinois, Florence is 22, with George Hinds, 22, and they have George Jr. 2.

In 1951 Springfield, Illinois, "Mrs. Florence Hinds" is a waitress at the VFW, living at 919 1/2 E. Reynolds.
George (Leona) is a mechanic, and they live at 2705 Holmes. George and Leona M. Willey had married in Springfield in 1950, and divorced in 1958.

There's a George M. Hinds 1918-1983 buried in Tularosa, New Mexico # 14598650, with spouse Maris E. 1942-2000 buried in St. Louis County, Missouri # 40097010.

Florence died September 18, 2007 in St. Louis. She was named Hinds in 1940, and as Freeman in 1953, dying as Hinds. " Florence Betty Hinds died September 18, 2007 after an extended illness and will be greatly missed by her family. "
It also said Ellen Louise Wycoff born June 13, 1918 in Lincoln died November 5, 2003 in Ventura, California.

Louise Wycoff and Norman Piotruschke, both of St. Louis, applied applied to three-day waiting period be waived, and it was granted on September 20, 1944.
