Charles claimed a quarter in section 9, 7S 50W in 1911 - two miles from Mack H. Davis born in Georgia.

There's a C. M. Davis in Trinidad, Colorado in 1920, a restaurant cook, 59 born in Georgia, married to Lena 54 born in Pennsylvania.
Lena Beakelay was in Cullman, Alabama in 1880, 18 born in Pennsylvania, stepdaughter to Charles Mager 64 and Mary Mager 49.

She might have been the Lena Huffman in 1870 Pennsylvania age 8, with George Huffman 46 and Mary 39. There are six other kids, so this doesn't seem probably...
In 1870 Pittsburgh, Henry Bolsterly is 38 a minister, with Mary 38, both born in Switzerland. Henry is 4, Ellen 3, and Berta six months.

Lena married Frederick Nehrer in Cullman County on March 10, 1881.
In 1930 Trinidad, Charles M. is managing a retail grocery and restaurant, 69, with Lena 51 a cook.
On the same page is an Isaac N. Davis 58 born in South Carolina, also managing a grocery, with Anna R. 67 born in Kentucky.

In 1940 Trinidad, C. M. Davis is 80, Lena 76,.

In 1940 Lena Davis is also in Contra Costa County, California, 78 born in Pennsylvania, aunt of Frederick Keller 54 born in Michigan or Della Keller 53 born in Alabama. Frederick's mother Lilly Ivy 73 born in Ohio is also with them.
(Della Scharringhausen, 24, had married F.W.C. Keller on October 19, 19110 in Trinidad, Colorado.)
In 1900 Della was with parents in Las Animas County.

Charles M. Davis 1860-1946 is buried in Trinidad # 95013839.

Lilly Ivey, born March 12, 1867 in Ohio, to father Mazer/Mager and mother Winnett, died October 11, 1955 in Contra Costa County.
