November 21, 1924 "Byron Stoner died Thursday morning at 5:30 o'clock at his home, two and a half miles northwest of Sheridan, as a result of thumps sustained in a runaway accident on Tuesday. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 1 o'clock in Sheridan. Burial will take place in the Sheridan cemetery.
Mr. Stoner was hauling wood Tuesday when his team became frightened at an airplane and ran away, striking a tree and throwing Stoner out. He sustained injuries on his right side and some ribs were broken. He was about fifty years old.
He is survived by his wife and five daughters and two sons. They are: Tony Stoner, Ware, Tex.; Mrs. Ralph Winemiller, Mrs. Edna Turner, Mrs. Percy Johnson, Virgil Stoner of Sheridan, Mrs. George Wells of St. Joseph, Mrs. Either Blake of Texas. "

"Amelia Schneider, daughter of Anthony and Christena [Christiana Dinghard] Schneider, was born August 6, 1866 at Pekin, [Tazewell County] Illinois, and passed away at the age of 93 years, six months, 19 days.
On March 1, 1885 she was united in marriage to Thomas Byron Stoner and to this union seven children were born as follows: Anthony Amos, deceased; Orpha Winemiller, deceased; Percy Johnson Stoner, Grant City, Mo.; Mrs. Edna Turner, Sheridan; Mrs. Ethel M. Wells, deceased; Mrs. Esther A. Blake, Topeka, Kans.; Virgil B. Stoner, Sheridan."

ANTHONY

Mr. Anthony A. Stoner Age: 20, married Gertrude M. Stranberg on 10 Feb 1906 in Worth County, Missouri.

October 6, 1955 Boise City, Oklahoma " A. A. Stoner, 70, of Boise City, died Sunday morning in Cimarron County Hospital following an extended illness caused by a chronic heart condition. Mr. Stoner, a resident of Cimarron county since 1940, is survived by his wife, Gertrude, three daughters, Elfreda Giddens, Goodwell: Leona Machotka Boise City, and Vera Feldman of Cimarron, N. M. A son, Donald R., died in action in Wor1d War II. Other survivors are tnree sisters, Mrs. Etna Turner, Mrs. Esther Blake, and Mrs. Percy Johnson, and one brother, Virgil Stoner, all of Sheridan, Mo., in addition to 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted in St. Paiul's Methodist Church here, Tuesday afternoon, by Rev. J. Paul Groom, the pastor, and Rev. Wm. Dean Robins, pastor of the First Christian Church. Interment was in Dalhart, Texas, cemetery, under direction of Wilson Funeral Home of Boise City."

"Orpha Viola Winemiller was a daughter of Thomas Byron and Amelia Stoner and was born at Seibert, Colo, Aug 1, 1888. Mrs. Winemiller departed this life at Missouri Methodist Hospital, St Joseph, Mo, Aug 21, 1939, at the age of 51 years and 21 days. Mrs. Winemiller was united in marriage to Ralph A [ndrew] Winemiller of Sheridan, Mo., Feb 24, 1908. Orpha was a faithful member for many years of the Isadora Christian Church. Mrs. Winemiller leaves to mourn her departure her husband, Ralph A [ndrew] Winemiller, her mother, Mrs Amelia Stoner, four sisters, Percy Johnson, Edna Turner, Ethel Wells, Esther Blake, all of Sheridan, Mo; and two brothers, Anthony A Stoner, Dalhart, Texas and Virgil B Stoner of Sheridan and a host of other relatives and friends."

August 21, 1968 Oklahoma City "Mrs. Esther A. Blake, 68, of 3620 NW 12, who had just reeently retired from Tinker Air Force Base, died Wednesday in Baptist Memorial Hospital. Services will be at Sheridan Mo., at 2 p. m. Saturday, in the Christian Church, with burial in Sheridan by Pugh Funeral Home of Grant City, Mo. Local arrangements are being made by Guardian Funeral Home.
She was born in Missouri. She began employment under U. S. Civil Service in 1942 at Topeka, as a government inspector, moved to Wichita Kan., and came to Oklahoma City and Tinker Air Force Base in 1961. She attended a Baptist church.
Survivors include a son, Gilbert, Overland Park, Kan., a sister, Mrs. Harry Turner, Maryville, Mo., a brother, Vergil Stoner, Sheridan, and five grandchildren."
