April 15, 1887 Council Grove, Kansas, "At her residence in this city, on Wednesday, April 6th, 1887,
Mrs. Louisa Frank Parker, wife of L. W. Parker, aged 31 years. Mrs. Parker came here with her
husband about two years ago from Knoxville, Iowa, and has since resided in this city.
About four months ago she was taken ill and lingered in great suffering until relieved by death.
She had resided at Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, for a period of nineteen years, where she had many relatives and
friends. The deceased leaves one child, a son about five years old, and her husband,
who have the sincere sympathy of all. The funeral services took place on Thursday the 7th,
from the M. E. (stone) church, Rev. Josephus Collins officiating."
