"There is no marker. She was living with her family of the land that her husband had inherited. It is possible, though unlikely that she is buried with her parents or grandparents. Situation was very dire. Husband died the following May. Minor children were left in the care of a half uncle who also died shortly after his half brother. Youngest was adopted by his grandfather and his second wife. Grandfather died soon after. All children survived to adulthood.
Land was sold to the Clarks for taxes. Cemetery was originally named Lewis Cemetery.

In 1910 Seibert precint, Kit Carson County, William Lewis is farming, 26, born in Kentucky. His brother Cornelius 32 is working for him.
William claimed two quarters in section 11, 7S 49W in 1913.
December 1917 Gibbon, Nebraska " Nuptials In the presence of about twenty relatives and friends at high noon on Christmas day occurred the marriage of Miss Anna Charlotte Schlake of Beatrice Nebraska to Mr. James William Lewis of Stanford, Montana,
at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. I. Codner. The bride is a sister of
Mrs. Codner. The contracting parties were unattended and to the strains of
Lohengrin's “Bridal Chorus” played by the bride’s sister, Miss Martha,
they took their places under a huge white bell where the impressive ring
ceremony was performed by Rev. M. C. Powers. Little Martha Schlake,
a niece of the bride, was ring bearer. The bride was dressed very simply in
white crepe de chine and carried white carnations.
The decorations were in red and white. Mrs. Lewis is a graduate of the
Beatrice High school and has taught school in Gage county for a
number of years. Mr. Lewis has been engaged in farming at Stanford for
several years and is a young man of sterling qualities. They expect to make
their home in this vicinity."
