Abbie is the sister of Daisy Chambers, Ella Jones, Charles Ernest Hollenbeck, Edna Jones, Ruth Andrews, Ralph Hollenbeck.
Abbie was a left a widow April 18, 1974 and has continued to live in Brewster.
Aunt Abbie, as she was known in the community was always ready to help whenever or wherever she was needed. Her hobbies were babysitting and needlework, as well as working in her flower garden.
I think she babysat everyone that ever lived in Brewster up to the last days of her life."

"Funeral Services for Al Jones will be held at 10 :30 a.m. Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Horber Funeral Chapel in Las Animas, CO with Pastor Diane Hutson officiating. Interment will follow in the Bent/Las Animas Cemetery. Visitation will be held 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 also at the funeral home.
Alvarez Allen Jones, known to most as Al, was born on October 23, 1918 in Seibert, CO to Frank Watson and Edna (Hollenbeck) Jones. He passed away on April 14, 2018 in Las Animas, CO at the age of 99.
Al is survived by his sons, Frank Jones of Las Animas, CO, Richard (Linda) Jones of Ft. Lupton, CO; sister, Ila Mae Hojura of Dallas, TX; 3 grandchildren; step-daughters, Nita (Don) Taylor of Lorena, TX, Nikki (Larry) Frederick of Ft. Sumner, NM, and Dolores (Kenny) Bruton of Cassville, MO; many other relatives and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Edna Jones; wife, Juanita (Pennington) Jones; daughters, Connie Marie Jones and Mary Kay Jones; brother, Glenn Jones; sisters, Lois Smith and Inez Melton."

Orvil Lee Jones married Ella Hollenbeck March 2, 1904. They celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary in 1970 before Orvil got sick and died November 22, 1970. Ella was the mother of Sylvia Viola Jones-Finley. Loving and devoted Grandmother,Great-grandmother, and Great-Great grandmother."
