Charles Fetzer, 7 South 49 West


In 1885 Lancaster County, Nebraska, Henry Fetzer is 45, Thesia Fetzer 35, Mary Fetzer 14, Maggie Fetzer 12, Henry Fetzer 9, Charlie Fetzer 5 , and Katy Fetzer 2.

In 1900 Lancaster County, Nebraska, Henry Fetzer is 59, born in Germany, Margaret Fetzer 27 Daughter, Henry Fetzer 24 Son, Chas. Fetzer born June 1880 in Nebraska, Son, is a farm laborer, Katie Fetzer 16 Daughter, Peter Fetzer 11 Son, and Benjiman Fetzer 8 Son.

March 10, 1933 Louisville, Nebraska "Henry Fetzer, a pioneer resideht of this vicinity, who has been making his home in Lincoln in recent years, died last Saturday. Born in Germany, he came with his parents to the United States in 1849. They located first in New York, and later moved to Wisconsin. Mr. Fetser came to Nebraska in the early seventies, locating in the vicinity when his brother Charles and Frank also made their homes for a good many years. His brother Joseph located at Plattsmouth, where he was engaged fn the shoe business for many year, before his death. Retiring from active life, Mr. Fetzer moved from here to Lincoln, in which city he has resided with his children since the death of his wife. The children include two sons and two daughters, Henry, Jr., Bernard, Margaret, and Mrs. Kata Smith, all living in Lincoln. One brother, Frank Fetzer of Fairbury, also survives. The funeral was held Monday at 9:30 from St Mary's Catholic church in Lincoln County."

In 1910 Kit Carson County, Chas. Fitzer 29, born in Nebraska, is living alone.

In September 1910 Charles Fetzer of Seibert registered at the Elk Hotel in Denver.

Charles claimed a quarter in section 3, 7S 49W in 1912.

One tree said Charles died January 1918 in Lincoln, Nebraska. The Soundex listing has Charley Fetzer dying 1918, Certificate # 726 in Saline County.
