" Mrs. Sarah V. Reasoner died atthe home of her daughter, Mrs.
George O Whistler at Fortner early Sunday morning, September 29 1912.
Sarah V. Whitman was born in November 13 1836, and united in
marriage to Chas. Moss October 17 1855. To this union nine children were born, seven of whom are living, one having died in infancy,
Charley L Moss died at the age of 24. The surviving children are
Mrs. Emma Culver of Loveland, Colo., Mrs. Ella Miller of Huron, S. D.,
Mrs. Lotta Fortner of ??, Mrs May Shamblin of ??, Mrs. Frona Huffaker, Neb.,
Mrs. W Gi Mo of Colomenoville, Ia., Malvern J of Crofton, and
Fred, S. D., and Mrs. Eva A. Virginia., Ia.
Besides :he children she leaves one sister, Mrs. Cornelia Sharpsreen of
Birminghampton, N. Y., 18 grand children,
and three great grandchildren. The husband and father died September 19,
1878. In the year 1888 she was united in marriage to Mr. Benjamin
Reasoner. They made their home at Gosport until the year 1908,
when she moved near Crofton, Neb., where she
made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Frona Huffaker.
For many years she has been a faithful member of the
Methodist Episcopal church at Gosport. She is a kind wife,
a loving mother, and loved by all who knew her.
Funeral services were held at Gosport, conducted by Rev.
Crandall of Columbia. Burial at Gosprt cemetery.
The children were all present at the funeral, except Mrs. Emma
Culver of Loveland, Colo. "

March 1920 Fort Collins "Mrs. C. A. Culver and sister accompanied the remains of their
brother, who died at Akron, Colo., very suddenly last Tuesday, to the old home at Clarksburg,
Neb. Mrs. Culver expects to return home the first of tbe week. "
Not likely, because March 3, 1964 "The death of G. Warren Culver, 76, a former Fort Collins resident,
who was judge of the Larimer County Court between 1925 and 1929, was reported from Denver today.
He was found dead in his automobile at his Denver home Monday night, after he had driven the car
into his garage. He had suffered from a heart ailment for several years.
He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles O. Culver,, who came here from Illinois in 1903,
and bought the Trimble farm in what is now south Fort Collins.
Of their five children, Mrs. Floyd Cross of Fort Collins and Mrs Alma Anderson of Santa
Barbara, Calif., are now the only survivors. Judge Culver was born at Athens, Ill., on
Jan 17, 1888, and was graduated from Fort Collins High School.
He was graduated from the University of Colorado in 1911, and won his law degree in 1913.
He was elected county judge in 1924, and s erved a four-year term Leaving here in 1929 he worked for a Chicago bank for' five years Moving to Denver in 1934 he worked in the state sales tax division and later for the Veterans Administration at the Federal Center He belonged to the Knights Templar and Alasonic orders Surviving besides his sisters are his widow the former Mrs Dorothy Cole and a step-son Amedee Cole of Greenwich Conn Airs Culver now a Denver social worker formerly was a professor of women’s physl cal education at Colorado State University Judge Culver will be buried at Athens 111 the former home of his family after a funeral in Denver .
