April 10, 1925 Aurora, Nebraska "Funeral services of Ed. J. Larsen were held Friday afternoon from the Methodist church in Aurora, with Rev. M. F. Mulvaney in charge. Interment was in Aurora cemetery. Ed. J. Larsen was born near Hampton, June 7, 1888. The earlier years of his life were spent at that place, where he formed many friends and associations which were dear to him.
He was united in marriage to Miss Florence Johns on April 18, 1909. To this union were born two sons, Morris and Glade. The departed brother was exemplary as a father and husband. The fine tribute that he was most sincere and devoted to his family has been accorded to him by those who knew him best. Unselfishly he sought to lighten the burdens and cares of those whom he loved. While living at Hampton he united with the English Lutheran church, to which faith he adhered at the time of his death. Five years ago he moved with his wife and boys to Burlington, Colorado, where he spent he remaining period of his life.
Death came and took him from his earthly sojourn on March 31, 1925, at St. Luke's hospital in Denver, Colo. He leaves to mourn his death, besides a bereaved family, his mother, brothers and one sister. The brothers are Will of Loup City, Ben, of Chappell, Peter, of North Platte, Harry of Montana, John and lvin of Hampton. The sqster, Mrs. Hofgaard, resides in North Dakota. Besides the immediate family he leaves a host of relatives and friends. "

WARD

Ward H. Chew Age: 23, married Lounette H. Crosswhite on 29 Mar 1925 in Seibert.

Salida Mail " On Sunday, March 29, at their newly furnished home in Seibert, occurred the marriage of Ward H. Chew and Miss Lounette Crosswhite. Rev. Chas. D. Gearheart of the Community church performed the ceremony, which was witnessed by immediate relatives of the contracting parties. Dinner followed the ceremony. Mr. Chew is a junior partner in the Chew Agri-Motor company and is one of the town's aggressive young business men. The bride is a sister of Mrs. V. S. Fitzpatrick of the Settler. She is a capable newspaper woman and has been connected with several papers in this state, including almost two years with the Settler. Both number their friends wherever they are known by the score, testimonials of their popularity being the serenades and charivari which occurred both Sunday and Monday nights.
The young couple plan to take a wedding trip in June, when they will go to the mountains
--Seibert Settler.
The bride formerly was employed in The Salida Mail office, and she has many friends in this city."

October 1925 Steamboat Springs "Mr. and Mrs. Ward Chew and her brother-in-law, Val S. Fitzpatrick, arrived last evening from Seibert, in Lincoln county, for a visit with Mrs. Chew's parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Crosswhite. The trip of 344 miles was made by auto in 16 hours. The gentlemen went to Craig today, to prepare to start on a deer hunt from there. The party wns accompanied from Seibert by Carl Crosgwhite, who returned home from a visit with his sisters, Mrs. Fitzpatrlck abd Mrs. Chew."

April 1926 Steamboat Springs "Francis M. Crosswhite and bride arrived Wednesday afternoon from Santa Ana, Calif., where they were married April 9, just before starting for Steamboat Springs in their car. News of the wedding was a surprise to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Crosswhite, who did not know of the marriage until they received news of the young couple being at Seibert, in Lincoln county, where they went for a visit of a few days with Mr. Crosswhite's sisters, Mrs. V. S. Fitzpatrick and Mrs. Ward Chew. They will be here at least for the summer, Mr. Crosswhite being associated with the Crosswhite garage."

They're still running the gas station in 1940 Seibert.

February 1950 "Mr. and Mrs. Ward Chew of Seibert, Colo, visited with friends in Brush Sunday."

In 1950 Seibert, Ward H. Chew 48 and Lounette Chew 46 Wife, both worki at a gas station.
