Thursday, March 16, 1950 Bennet, Nebraska "Mrs. Maude Alexander,
about 64, died at her home in Denver Friday night.
She was the widow of Earnest A. Alexander,
and formerly resided in the Bennet and Lincoln vicinities.
Her husband died last April. Mrs. Alexander was born in Lancaster
county. She was married in 1902, and she snd her husband lived on a
farm near Bennet for three years, then homesteaded at Burlington,
Colo. They moved to Lincoln in 1916, where Mr. Alexander was
employed by the street car company, and later by the bus company,
retiring in 1948 when they moved to Denver.
Surviving are a son Glenn of Evergreen, Colo., a sister,
Mrs. Floye Lyons of St. Edward, two brothere-in-law, A. J.
and R. A. Alexander of Lincoln, and two grandchildren.
Services were held Monday in Denver."
