William and Iva )Coakley) Weber, 7 South 45 West




William Weber claimed 320 acres in sections 25 and 26, 7S 45W in 1912, witnesses William G. Davis, Gottleib Baudor, August Adolf, Jay Scofield, all of Bethune, Colorado.

In 1920 Kit Carson County, William Weber is farming, 48, with Iva M. 37, both born in Iowa. Margie J. 17 and Opal L. 12 were born in Nebraska, Katie 9 in Colorado, Almond W. 6 in Nebraska, and Farist 4 in COlorado.

William Jacob Weber 1871-1956 is buried in Burlington # 16252172.
"Funeral services were held at the Hendricks mortuary in Burlington, Saturday, Sept. 22, for William Jacob Weber, 85. Rev. John S. George, pastor of the Christian church, was in charge of the services. Musical numbers were provided by Mrs. Betty Harrison and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Hendricks, accompanied by Mrs. Dorothy Colglazier at the organ. Burial was in Fairview cemetery.
William Jacob Weber, son of Martin and Frances Weber, was born in Iowa City, IA, Aug. 22, 1871. He departed this life at Burlington Sept. 17, at the age of 85 years and 25 days.
He was married to Iva Maud Coakley of Hartington, NB, Nov. 12, 1898. He spent the early years of his married life in Hartington and Norfolk, NB. He moved his family to Colorado in 1908, settling on a homestead 14 miles northwest of Burlington. He occupied this ranch for 34 years. He moved to the present home at 260 10th street in Burlington in 1942. He united with the Burlington Christian church, June 14, 1932. He was also a member of the IOOF lodge.
Mr. Weber was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his wife, Iva, and seven children, four daughters and three sons; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers and one sister. The brothers are Frank of Church Hill, TN, and Ed of Osage City, KS. The sister is Mrs. Elizabeth Anderson, of Monrovia, CA.
The surviving children are Mrs. Minia Lasher and Mrs. Katherine Tuttle, Battle Creek, Mich.; Mrs. Margie Knapp, Burlington; Mrs. Opal Towers, Denver; Almond W., Cloverdale, Mich.; Faris F. and George W., Denver.
"Billy" Weber was a devoted husband, good father, and a good neighbor and worthy citizen. He enjoyed life and was always able to smile, regardless of illness or trouble.
Out-of-town relatives and friends here for the funeral services were William Myers and Mr. and Mrs. John S. Myers, Independence, MO; Ed Weber, Osage City, KS; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Weber and Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Wise, Fort Morgan; Mr. and Mrs. LaVern Thomas, Mr. and Mrs. Harry McCurdy, Mr. and Mrs. William Mattern, and Fred Smith, Denver."

Minia Francis Weber Lasher 1900–1992 is buried in Glendale, Arizona, spouses Elmer J Norton 1892–1976 (m. 1918) and Harry Irving Lasher 1898–1985 (m. 1953)


John W. Knapp, 24, married Margie J. Weber, 21, in Burlington January 6, 1924.
Margie Jane Weber Knapp 1902–1993 is buried in Burlington with John Willard Knapp 1900-1971.

Opal Leona Weber Towers 1907–1991 is buried in Adams County, Colorado, with Marion Towers 1903-1966.


Katherine Lorraine Weber Tuttle 1910–2007 died in Mechanicville, New York. "Katherine L. (Weber) Tuttle, 97, residing at the Cook Adult Home in Mechanicville, died Saturday, May 26, 2007, after an extended illness.
Born in Burlington, Colo., on Jan. 20, 1910, she was the daughter of William J. Weber and Iva Maude (Cokeley) Weber.
Katherine married Albert C. Tuttle on Sept. 24, 1927, in Wray, Colo.
In 1935, Katherine, husband and son, William, relocated to a farm in Hastings, Mich. Two years later the family moved to Battle Creek, Mich.ÊShe and her husband became members of the Urbandale Methodist Church.
She was a lifetime member and past worthy matron of the Bedford Eastern Star Order of the Amaranth. Additionally, Katie was past worthy high priestess of the Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem.
Katherine moved to Mechanicville in June 1989. Shortly after the move, she became a member of the Mechanicville United Methodist Church. In Katherine's journey from Michigan to New York, and afterwards, she was greatly assisted by her granddaughters, Sandra and Sharon.
Preceding Katherine in death were her mother, father, and husband, Albert. Also preceding Katherine were her three sisters, Mina Lasher of Phoenix, Ariz., Margie Knapp of Burlington, Colo., and Opal Towers of Commerce City, Colo. and three brothers, Almond Weber of Cloverdale, Mich., Faris Weber and George Weber of Denver, Colo.
Katherine is survived by a son, William and daughter-in-law, Barbara, of Moreau; Êgranddaughters: Sharon Cogan and her husband, Robert, of Stillwater, Sandra Houle and her husband, Robert, of Mechanicville, Sharlene Morrell and her husband, Santino, of Spring Hill, Fla., Susan Luce and her husband, Roy, of Scotia, Stacey Granger and her husband, Chris, of Corinth, Shannon Connerton and here husband, Michael, of Brewerton, N.Y.; as well at 14 great- and great-great-grandchildren."

Almond W Weber 1913–1989 is buried in Barry County, Michigan, with Glenna Irene (Osgood) Weber 1903-1990.

Faris Frank Weber 1915–2005 is buried in Fort Logan, Colorado.

George Wayne Weber 1922–1972 is buried in Arvada, husband of Helen M. (Brooks) Weber, father of Wayne W. of Lakewood, Lee Roy of Arvada, and Anita M Eubank of Denver.
