Clarence Sharp, 7 South 45 West



Possibly the Clarence Sharp, 27, who married Nellie Thompson in Rocky Ford, Colorado on September 15, 1903.

Clarence claimed a quarter in sections 18 and 19, 7S 45W in 1909.

In 1900 Sedalia, Missouri, Clarence is a music teacher, 18, with parents William Sharp 65- a mercantile trader - and Margaaret 59, both born in England. His sister Lillian is 29, a school teacher.

In 1910 Denver, Clarence Sharp is an organist and music teacher, 28, born in Missouri, living with another single man on 22nd Avenue.

Lillian (Sharp) Dow is in Lafayette, Colorado in 1910, 39, just married to John P. Dow 38, proprietor of a drug store.

William died in 1914, and is buried in Sedalia # 21584454.

Clarence's mother, 79, is living with Lillian and John Dow and nine-year-old Kenneth in 1920 Lafayette.

Clarence Sharp registered for WWI in Denver, born October 7, 1881, living at 25 East 18th Avenue, a musician. His reference was his mother, Mrs. M.E. Sharp of Lafayette, Colorado.

Clarence was living alone in both the 1920 and 1930 census.

Clarence died in April 1967, last residence Denver, buried in Wheat Ridge # 50072553.


Jessie R. Sharp had timber-claimed a quarter in section 1, 9S 47W in 1895.

Jessie might be the one in 1900 Hamilton County, Nebraska, born May 1865 in Illinois, married six years to Martha M. Nov 1877 Nebraska, with three kids all born in Nebraska.
They're living with Loranzo Sharp Nov 1838 born in New York, and Samantha C. Sept 1844 Indiana.
Frank Sharp Oct 1876 and Clara 22 both born in Illinois are the next household, with two kids born in Nebraska.
