Napoleon was born in Westmoreland County, Virginia, Emma at Waldwich, Wisconsin.

In 1860 Iowa County, Wisconsin, Samuel Zollinger is farming, 42 born in Pennsylvania, with Lucinda 35, Indiana. Frances is 16, Napoleon G. B. 14, Madora F. 12, Henry A. 9, Commordore Perry 5, Sarah Jane 3, and Samantha Ann seven months.

Thaddeus claimed two quarters in 17, 7S 43W in 1913.

In 1880 Iowa County, N.G. is 37, Emma 31, Essie 12, George 10, Etha May 8, Thadius 5, and Garland 3.
George Samuel Zonninger had a son Genoa Samuel Zollinger at Waldwich, Sauk County, Wisconsin with Bertha Louisa Kulmhenn

In 1910 Kit Carson County, Napoeon 64 and Emma 60 are alone, farming, next to son Thaddeus. Emma has had eight kids, six living.

Napolean claimed two quarters in 20, 7S 43W in 1913.

He also applied to lease the school section in 15, 7S 43W in 1911.
In 1910 Albertus Brandt of Kanorado filed for land in 21, 7S 43W, witnesses N.G.B. Zollinger, Alfred Wallet, Fred Wallet, and Jake Love.
April 6, 1911 Burlington - Emerson Valley items "We are sorry to hear of the death of the elder Mrs. Zollinger who died in Arizona Saturday, April 1st , "

Emma , # 29485607 died in 1911, and is buried in Albuquesrque
"Mrs. Emma M. Zollinger, wife of N.G.B. Zollinger, whose home is in Burlington, Colo., formerly of the town of Mineral Point, Wis, died April 2nd at the home of her eldest daughter, Mrs. Chas. N. Davis, Albuquerque, N. Mex., during a visit there.
The deceased was born in the town of Mineral Point, Wis, December 29th, 1849, being 61 years, 3 months and 4 days old. There she resided until five years ago, then going to Burlington, Colo., in a delicate state of health.
She leaves to mourn her death, a husband, three sons, George S. of Boulder, Colo., Thad G. and James G of Burlington, Colo; and three daughters, Mrs. Chas. N. Davis of Albuquerque, N. Mex., Dr. Ette M Riley of Battle Creek, Mich., and Mrs. Milo Bolten of Milwaukee, Wis., a mother and many other relatives. Death came after an illness of short duration from pneumonia and heart failure.
Mrs. Zollinger led a noble life in her own sphere and was one of the heroines of this earth. It is not always those who attract the most attention of the world, or those great in the world, who are really a truly great. But rather those who under difficulties, sorrows and embarrassments of various kinds, strive onward in the face of difficulties, doing their duty and living a life for God and the good of humanity. These are the ones who are truly the noble ones in this world and the deceased was a worthy member of this class and has been a faithful wife, a devoted mother, a true friend and an exemplary Christian. We laid her to rest in Fair View Cemetery to await the call of the Life Giver. "

JAMES

In 1900 Iowa County, Wisconsin, James is 22, working for his sister Essie J. Davis 33 and her husband Charles 35.
In 1910 Kit Carson County, James is farming, 32, maried six years to Scena, 32 Norway, with Etta Leon 3 born in Colorado.

James claimed a quarter in 20, 7S 43W in 1912.

James Garland Zollinger, 1877-1950 is buried in Burlington # 83538159, with Scena Leone (Thompson) Zollinger 1878-1973.

THADDEUS

In 1910 Kit Carson County, next to Napoleon, Thaddeus is 35, farming.

In 1940 Battle Creek, Calhoun County, Michigan, T. G. Zoolinger is 64, born iN Wisconsin - in Kit Carson County Colorado in 1935. He's with his sister Henrietta Riley 66 and her husband Dr. Wm. H. Riley, a nerve specalist, 74.
Thaddeus is buried in Amelia County, Virginia 1875-1944 # 38010933 "Genoa Thaddeus Zollinger is the fifth child of Napoleon Genoa Bonaparte and Emma Martin Zollinger. He was born in Waldwick, Iowa, Wisconsin and lived there until he was in the 1910 census living in Kit Carson Co, Colorado. On his WWI Draft Registation Card 1917-1918 it states that he is 43 yrs old, born July 15th 1875 and that his home is in Burlington, Kit Carson Colorado, that he is a farmer, self employed, he is of short height, medium build, blue eyes and light colored hair. He was never married. "

HENRIETTA
Henrietta is in Boulder Colorado in 1900, born July 1871, married two years to Dr. William H. Riley. They have William born March 1900 in COlorado.

1896 Boulder Colorado "Miss Etta Zollinger of Madison, Wisconsin, is taking treatment at the Sanitarium and will attend the university."

GEORGE

September 1917 Loveland "Miss Amelia Kuhnhonn, who spent the summer with her sister, Mrs. Geo. Zollinger, returned today to her home in Elkhorn, Wisconsin.

Miss Eloise Zollinger accompanied her father and brother on their return trip to Stoneham, Colo., this morning, for a few days' visit."

July 1918 Loveland Colorado "MRS. GEO. S. ZOLLINGER Will take patients for General and Obstetrical Nursing In well-equipped private house. For terms, phono Loveland 264J or call at 1267 North Cleveland avenue."

August 1918 "Seven persons had a miraculous escape in Denver Wednesday afternoon when a touring car driven by William A. Morse, 2339 Bellaire street, crashed into the machine of Genoa S. Zollinger of Loveland at the intersection of California and Twentieth streets. Dorothy Morse, 6 years old, sustained the most serious injuries. Her face was badly lacerated by glass from the windshield.
Zollinger attempted to turn from Twentieth street east on California when Morse’s car struck his machine. The impact of the crash drove both Zollinger's and Morse's cars over the curb and on the sidewalk.
They were badly damaged.—Rocky Mountain News

August 1918 Loveland guests included " Mrs. G. S. Zollinger and daughter Eloise and sons, Genoa and Whitcomb, Miss A. W. Kuhnhenn of Wisconsin.."


February 16, 1920 Loveland, Colorado "The marriage of Miss Elsie Zollinger to Clyde West of Loveland was solemnized in the presence of a few intimate friends Friday evening at 8 o’clock at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. George S. Zollinger, at Laporte. Both bride and groom have many friends in Loveland.
Mr. and Mrs, West left Saturday morning for California, accompanying George West, who was called here recently. The groom will take a position on a large stock ranch in California. They have the best wishes of their many friends here."

In 1920 Loveland, George is 51, Bertha L. 55, Elouise M. 24, Genoa S. 19, and Whitcomb R. 14.

In 1930 Loveland, Bertha 67 and Whitcomb R. 25 are with Eloise M. West 34 and Bertha 9.
George is in Kit Carson County in 1930, farming, next to brother James S. 52 and Scena 50.

Bertha Louise Kuhnhenn Zollinger 1862-1933 is buried in Loveland # 88905136.

George Samuel Zollinger 1869-1954 is buried in Dayton, Tennessee # 62850921
"George Samuel Zollinger, 84, passed away on December 4, 1954. He was a resident of Laurelbrook Sanitarium (Dayton, Tennessee) at that time. George was the son of Genoa Napoleon Bonaparte Zollinger and Emma Martin. He donated the property near Dayton, Tennessee, for Laurelbrook School and Sanitarium. He was married to Bertha Louise Kuhnhenn. He was survived by his sons, Genoa Samuel Zollinger and Witcomb Riley Zollinger, as well as his daughter, Eloise M. Zollinger West."

Genoa S. Zollinger married Ellen B. Howe October 27, 1922, recorded in Boulder.
Genoa S. Zollinger married Eva C. Hard April 11, 1936, recorded in Douglas County, COlorado. Genoa is buried in Loveland "Genoa Samuel Zollinger is the son of George Samuel and Bertha Louise Kuhnhenn Zollinger. Genoa married Ellen Bernice Howe on Oct 27, 1922 in Boulder, CO and they had nine children. His wife Ellen died in 1934 after the birth of their last child from complications. Genoa then married Eva Carey Hard, Eva was the widow of Harley G Hard. "

There was a Leroy C. Zollinger who claimed land in Cheyenne County, 40 miles south, in 1914. But this one is the son of Clinton L. Zollinger and Esma C. Zollinger, who had Leroy in Iowa in 1879.
