NORMAN
May 15, 1912
June 5, 1912 "The suit for divorce filed some time ago by Norman M. Campbell against his wife,
Lulu Moore Campbell, was heard late Monday afternoon in district court by Judge Graham.
The complaint alleged that the Campbells were married May 3, 1910, and that a son was born to them
January 21, 1911. Also that Mrs. Campbell had been cruel to her husband in that she left him soon
after they were married and remained at the home of her parents near Dover, Weld county, for two
and one-half months when the busy season was on at the farm. She refused to come home when asked
and when she did return was irritable and sulky and stated that she was a fool for ever having
married the plaintiff or having returned to his home. Mrs. Campbell made no contest whatever.
The complaint asked that the child be given to W. H. Campbell and wife,
parents of the plaintiff, for custody, and the court made a ruling accordingly.
Judge Graham also decreed that neither Mr. nor Mrs. Campbell should assume
matrimonial relations within one year from date."
