William cash-claimed a quarter in 28, 7S 43W in 1890, and reissued in 1891.
He might be the one in 1900 Larimer County, Colorado. Born September 1857, farming, married 20 years to Louisa Feb 1853. Norman July 1880 and Lilah M. May 1887, all born in Canada. Louisa had had four kids, two living. Roy B. Whatley, nephew, born Feb 1890 in Colorado is with them. (Johnathan C. "Watley" married Sophia Tighe, daughter of John and Jane Tighe, on Nov 14, 1888 in Ontario. Johnatha was 24, ESophia 17. Johnathan's parents were Charles and Elizabeth Watley.
Roy was born Feb 16, 1890 at Hillsboro, Colorado, and registered for WWI farming in Melfort Province, Saskatchewan, farming, single. When he applied for work in 1913 at the Northern Pacific Railroad, he said his father was Dr. Johnathan Whatley of Prince Albert Canada. Leroy said he was not married, and his wife was Mrs. Sophia Whatley ????)
1903 Fort Collins "Miss Sophie Whatley is visiting with the family of W. H. Campbell. Miss Whatley is recently a graduate of the Ann Arbor School of Nurses and coneplates locating in Fort Collins."


In 1910 Larimer County, William is farming, 51, with Norman 28, and Lilah 22. Norman is married to Lulu M. 24 born in Missouri.

In 1920 Weld County, William is 62, Louisa 66, with grandson William 8.
William 72, Louisa 77, and William N. 19 are farming in Larimer County in 1930.

William H. Campbell was awarded an old age pension by the Larimer County commissioners October 10, 1934.

LELAH

Lelah M. L. Campbell married DeWitt C. Armitage on February 26, 1916, recorded in Weld County.

In 1920 Fort Collins, DeWitt is 51, Lila May 31, immigrating in 1890, naturalized. They have Helen 2, born in Colorado. They also have a roomer Thomas Moffatt 36 and Dewitt's brother George 58 born in New York.
They are buried in Fort Collins, Lilah 1887-1972 # 86850545, Dewitt 1867-1949.
Daughter Helen Amanda (Armitage) Litty 1917-1979 is also buried in Fort Collins # 87338753.

NORMAN

May 15, 1912
June 5, 1912 "The suit for divorce filed some time ago by Norman M. Campbell against his wife, Lulu Moore Campbell, was heard late Monday afternoon in district court by Judge Graham. The complaint alleged that the Campbells were married May 3, 1910, and that a son was born to them January 21, 1911. Also that Mrs. Campbell had been cruel to her husband in that she left him soon after they were married and remained at the home of her parents near Dover, Weld county, for two and one-half months when the busy season was on at the farm. She refused to come home when asked and when she did return was irritable and sulky and stated that she was a fool for ever having married the plaintiff or having returned to his home. Mrs. Campbell made no contest whatever. The complaint asked that the child be given to W. H. Campbell and wife, parents of the plaintiff, for custody, and the court made a ruling accordingly. Judge Graham also decreed that neither Mr. nor Mrs. Campbell should assume matrimonial relations within one year from date."

Norman Wellington Campbell was naturalized in Larimer County district court on September 8, 1914.

Norman 1880-1969 is buried in Fort Collins # 50477993, with Millie 1885-1978.
August 8, 1969 "Funeral services will be held Monday at the Warren Funeral Chapel in Fort Collins for Norman Wellington Campbell, a retired farmer living on Route 2, Greeley. Interment will be in Grand View Cemetery at Fort Collins. Campbell died Thursday at Weld County General Hospital. He was 89.
Born in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, he came to Greeley with his parents in 1887, and had lived in the community most of the time since.
He married Mrs. Millie Wayne in Greeley on April 25, 1936. He retired from active farming in 1953.
He was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Surviving, in addition to his wife, Mrs. Millie Campbell, are five stepsons and stepdaughters, Mrs. Mattie McElradey of Bellvue; Eddie Martin of Evanville, Ark.; Mrs. Lillie Simer of San Antonio, Texas, Mrs. Elecoelyn Guy of LaPorte and Mrs. Esther Mill of Ault. Also surviving is a sister Mrs. Lilah Armltage of Fort Collins."
