Alvin A. Pettijohn, 91, died Monday, Oct. 17, 2011. He was born March 25, 1920, to Andrew and Martha Pettijohn in Norton County. He was a lifelong farmer and enjoyed fishing.
His wife, Ellen, died in 1963. He is survived by his daughter, Mary (John) Eggart, of Holman, Wis.; sons, Wayne, of the home, and Linn (Deborah), of Meeker, Colo.; brothers, Robert (Joy), of Austin, Texas, and Conrad (Carol), of Goodland; sisters, Grace Simmering and Betty Pettijohn, both of Goodland; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
Burial was in Kanorado Cemetery. Bateman Funeral Home, Goodland, handled arrangements.
Joan Cora (Pettijohn) Sipes 1931-2005 is buried in Goodland # 49968696 says she was born in Kit Carson COunty.
Dorothy is buried in Goodland 1922-2000
