SUMMERFIELD WYMORE was born 4 April 1848 in Oskaloosa, Mahaska Co IA, and died 15 July 1927 in Long Island, Phillips Co KS bur Woodruff Ks.She married JAMES ELLERSON LARISON 7 March 1865 in Atchison County, KS, son of GEORGE LARISON and SARAH CROW.He was born 2 October 1845 in Buchanon Co MO, and died 6 August 1919 in St Joseph, Buchanon Co MO bur Philips Co Woodruff Ks.

James was born in Missouri to George Larison.
In 1880 Gage County, Nebraska, James is 33, Summerfield 31, with Johnson, 13, Kansas, Sarah A. 11, Kansas, George U. 9 Nebraska, William 6 Nebraska, Jonathan 3 Nebraska, and Robert 1, Nebraska.

James cash-claimed a quarter in 35, 7S 42W in 1890, and another in 1891.
1893 Phillips County, Kansas "J.E. Larison of O'Dell, Nebraska, has purchased of O.W. Hill, Administrator of the estate of Frank Wheeler, a quarter section of land, paying $2,450.00 cash for it. Mr. Larison has gone home for this familiy and will return at once."
They were living near Odell, Nebraska in 1896 "The Weekly Wymorean, Wymore, Nebraska, Saturday, April 19, 1896, page 3 "Grandmother Wymore died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Jas. Larison, of Odell on Wednesday morning after an illness of about 3 months, she was 79 years of age, and the mother of Samuel, William, Abraham, George, Johniathan and Robert Wymore and Mrs. James Larison, who all reside in this vicinity." "
1899 Woodruff, Kansas items "Mr. Larison is building a new residence on his farm one mile east."

In 1900 Phillips County, Kansas, James E. Larison born Oct 1845 in Missouri, married 35 years to Summer April 1848 Iowa, George W. Sept 1871, Jonathan M. Jan 1877, Robert E. Jan 1879, Bell N. March 1881, Rhufus Feb 1885, and James Dec 1890 - all kids born in Nebraska.

1901 Phillips County "Lawn Wymore and John Larison will start for Canada in a few days."
"The ground is so hard and dry that the craw-fish holes in the low places are being pulled up and shipped off for gas pipe."

In 1910 Harlan County, Nebraska, Jas. E. is 64, Summerfield 62, married 45 years, with Jonathan 33 and James E. 19, both born in Nebraska.
Next to them is Johnson Larison 43, Kansas and Sarah J. 46, married two years.
James 1845-1919 # 77240943 and Summerfield H. (Wymore) Larison 1848-1927 are buried in Phillips County, Kansas.
James died in St. Joseph Missouri of a ruptured gall bladder, infor Johnson Larison of Long Island, Kansas., who said James ws to be buried in Orleans, Nebraska.


Summer might be related to William J. Wymore, who cash-claimed a quarter in 9S 42W in 1890 - taht's in Sherman County, Kansas, but only a dozen miles away.
